Sweet Revenge ; conclusion

Doc was driving to Kate's main compound, trying to fill Bee in on all
that's was missing. "The collars were originally intended for use
with bone replacement. It is stronger then bone, so less likely to
need to be replaced. The one thing no one expected was the side
effect of linking all the smaller pieces to the brain and have it
help relay the signal. Now we have a metal that MIGHT help fix the
broken bones AND signals."

Bee was catching on to where most of this was going. "So let me
guess. Kate has the `Master' piece and everyone else has the `Slave'
piece?" Bee sounded disgusted, but something in her mind was
screaming for her to listen.

"Well your half right, she DID have the `Master' and the rest ARE
the `Slave' pieces. But NOW you have the `Master' and she thinks you
won't know how to use it."
"Then she was planning on using ME to order HER `slaves' around?" Bee
asked, stunned. "What do you mean `I won't know how to use it'? Is
there something you arn't telling me?"

"There is a control word for the collar, something to make it
activate. Kate has the word and you have the collar." Doc smiled
sadly at Bee. "The only way to get the collar off.... is with that
word."
Bee sat silent for a moment, then "Well, what are you waiting for?
Let's get that bitch."

Doc smiled and floored the peddle. "The towers will be on your side,
try not to kill anyone with a collar on. Kate can't control YOU, but
she can control the 'slave ' collars."
Bee nodded then turned to check on the others. They all smiled with
confidence, knowing that they would all follow this woman anywhere.

Doc hollared when she spotted the of the tree guards. "Hang on, it's
gonna get BUMPY..."

Anna was almost to the door when flood lights came on and the sound
of an engine as it tore through the fence. Anna opened the door just
in time to see a truck flying up the drive. "Bee." Anna didn't know
how, but she KNEW that Bee was in that truck.

Other vehicles were following the truck through the gate. Anna
carefully made her way over to where the truck had stopped. As she
rounded the corner of the building, she ran right into Seska.

Grabbing Anna by the throat, Seska picked her up. "Going somewhere
princess? Wouldn't wanna miss all the fun?" Anna grabbed a hold of
the hand on her neck and twisted.
Seska dropped Anna and clutched her wrist. Anna took the chance and
ran for Bee.

Doc had spotted Anna and Seska fighting. Bee was out of the truck
before it stopped rolling. She caught Anna and helped her into the
truck. "STAY PUT!!!" Bee had just turned back when she was hit and
knocked to the ground.

"So the mongrel has come home. Kate will be soooooo pleased." Seska
reached for Bee. Anna had gotten out of the truck and was pointing
her gun at Seska.

"Back off NOW, or I WILL shoot you." Anna gave her only one chance.
When Seska didn't stop Anna fired a warning shot next to her
foot. "Don't think I can't or WON'T."
Seska turned her head to Anna and smiled. "Don't threaten me little
girl." As her fingers touched Bee's still form Anna squeezed the
trigger.

Kate was in a tower watching the scene unfold. When Anna had the gun
pointed at Seska, Kate felt her heart stop. "NOOOOOO......." Kate
watched as Seska's body hit the ground and remained motionless. The
followers we're out numbered and Kate couldn't control all of them
alone.

"Bring .....me.....the....(wheeze)....collar..." She fought for every
word and every breath. When the woman returned with the control
collar Kate slipped it on. She looked at where Bee had been.
Her thoughts went to every follower with a 'slave'collar and they all
started for Bee. Some fought the control and over half stopped before
they we're more then two steps away.

"You can't hurt me anymore Kate. I have the 'master' and the word."
Kate was knocked back by the force of Bee's thought's. One word came
ringing through. "PET"

The collar on Bee opened and fell off. Once Bee's was disconnected
the 'slave' collars released as well. Bee picked up the 'master'
collar and handed it to Doc.

"You will see that NO one will ever see this thing again, right?" Doc
nodded and took the collar. "I have some place where no one will ever
think to look."

Bee turned to Anna. "Hey there, good lookin. How bout you and me skip
out of here, spend a little ALONE time."
Anna pulled Bee to her. Wrapping her arms around Bee's waist. "I
don't know if I should go with you. Arn't you some kind of thief?"

Screams broke the mood as everyone watched Kate's body fall three
stories to the ground. Anna flinched and buried her face in Bee's
neck.
"Guess once she lost Seska, nothing else mattered. I feel sorry for
her, she wasn't always like that. Once she had only the best of
intentions. Along the way the money and power took over."

"At least we have each other. That is one very good thing to come out
of all of this mess." Anna reached down and kisses Bee. "Let's go get
started on that `alone' time you mentioned."
They jumped into the truck and took off before any one noticed.
