"Careful, don't jossel her around so much. Ok great, close the door."
The voices grew quiet so Bee tried to open her eyes. When they didn't
open she groaned.
A hand rested on her side. "Are you ok? Can you tell me what
happened?" The woman's voice was soft and soothing. Bee tried harder
to open her eyes.

"Well hello there, glad to see you are still with us. You had me
worried." The hand moved from her side to her forehead. "I saw you
fall off your bike and stopped to help. I couldn't wake you, so we
put you in here."
She pointed to the vehicle Bee was now resting in. It was dark
outside and the vehicle had a black seats, or the other woman would
have seen the growing blood stain.
"I need to get to a doctor. I'm not sure what happen, but I think I
maybe bleeding all over your car...'

And with that Bee passed out. The woman jumped out from behind the
wheel and crawled into the back. Feeling around she found the wet
spot, spreading quickly. "DAM, what did I get myself into now?"

Anna's head was pounding, but the sound of soft whimpers made her
open her eyes. The room was almost to bright to see, but off in one
corner she could see Kes. She was curled into a ball, softly
whimpering. Anna tried to move, but found she had been tied down.

"Kes." Anna tried to get the other woman's attention. "KES, it's
Anna, hey come over here. What did that bitch do to you?" Kes was
shaking so bad she couldn't even move. Turning her head so she could
see Anna, Kes jumped like she had been shocked.
Anna could hear a humming sound, getting louder, until Kes stopped
moving. The hum stopped as the door opened.

"Oh darn, looks like I broke my new TOY." Seska walked over, picked
Kes up and threw her out the still open door. "Oh well, I still have
YOU. So pretty, what should we start with, hmmm?"
Anna stared right at Seska. "Give it your best shot. It was easy to
kill a child with your gadget's, but I don't think you can face my
honestly." She smiled smugly at Seska, pushing her farther, hoping
she would get mad and slip up.

"Why you little slut. Who do you think you ARE?" Seska struck Anna
just as Kate opened the door. `Prefect' thought Anna, `Now she has to
answer to her KEEPER.' And by the look on Kate's face, it was gonna
hurt.
"What is going .....on...(wheeze)....I sent you .....get her....
(chough) ....WHY..." Kate's face was turning red from trying to hold
back the pain in her chest. Seska lept to her, catching Kate just
before she hit the ground.

"NO, come on Kate, breath baby....that's it easy.....GUARD bring her
air NOW." Seska was shaking she was so mad. She lifted Kate into her
arms and walked to the door. Just before she left, she turned to Anna.
"I will make you pay for hurting her." Her eyes we're cold and almost
dead. "If anything happens to her....it will happen to you to."

Once the door closed, Anna pulled her arm out of the restraint and
pulled the rest off. She listened at the door before deciding it was
safe. She quietly opened the door and slipped out.
Unlike the room the hall was only half as bright. Sliding threw the
shadows Anna checked doors and halls, looking for some way out. She
was just about to round a corner when she spotted Seska.

Opening her eyes slowly and scanning the room Bee got the feeling of
being watched. Turning towards the door she sees a pair of small
eyes.
"Why hello there. My name is Bee, what's yours?" Bee smiled. The
little girl turned and ran from the room.
"MAMA, its awake. Come quick." The little girl was yelling in the
hall. Quick steps came up to the door.
"OK, ok I don't think the nice lady would like you calling her
an `it'." The angle from the vehicle walked threw the door holding
the little girls hand.

"Hey you look much better. How do ya feel? The wound wasn't to bad. I
got the bleeding stopped and stitched it up." The blond was rambling
on, but Bee just smiled and thanked her. "Oh I'm just glad your
alright. You had me worried there for a while."
Shooing her daughter from the room the other woman walked to Bee. "I
need to check the bandage." She blushed when Bee threw the covers
back.

"Why don't you tell me what really happened to you. I know it has
something to do with Sam." Bee flinched at the mention of Sam's name.
Seeming to not notice the woman asked Bee where she get the
collar. "Do you know what happen to Sam?" Bee had to know.

"Ya, Sam is dead, I was on my way over to warn her. Kate is launching
her `master plan' and we need to get ready. I saw you speeding away
when I drove up. The bullets stopped me from checking, but if you are
hear and ....she....isn't....Well I guessed the rest." She stopped
and smiled at Bee. "You must be the famous Bee. I have been hearing
really BAD things about you from Kate's followers." "Bee it is a
pleasure to finally met you, they call me Doc."

Bee worked her way up to stand in front of the woman. "Well Doc its
nice to know you." Doc leaned closer and whispered. "So tell me, just
what did you do to piss Kate off bad enough to put the proto type on
you."

Bee blushed and said, "I don't like her rules." As if that answered
it all. "Ok, well we need to get out of here and get the others
rounded up. Now that we have you we might just have an edge."

Seska was still fuming over the little slut. Kate was in resting,
while the doctors watched her closely.
Reaching out she stopped one of the followers and sent him to fetch
Anna.

"You will pay for her suffering." Seska promised. The look in her eye
was cold and no one looked at her. She turned when the door
opened, "How is she?" She demanded.

"She's resting, she asked for you." With that the doctors turned and
went back to his office.

Stepping through the door she walked to the bed. "I am here my love."
Kate's hand gripped hers tight. "Worry not love, everything is going
as planned." At that Kate's eyes light with the fire of revenge.
"Soon my love, very soon." Seska knelt down beside the bed and rested
her head close by Kate's and her joined hands.

"Sooooon.....my pet...."

Anna stayed where she was till she saw Seska leave. Then she made her
way around to get a look at what was inside. She had `borrowed' a
robe, so she could move easier.
The others did their jobs and no one even noticed her. `So far so
good, now lets not get cockie'. Anna walked by the door and chanced a
glance in side. She almost tripped over her own feet, what she saw
had startled her so bad she must have gasped.

The woman in the room was burned from head to foot, but only on one
side, like something had blocked the rest. When Anna gasped the woman
turned and faced her. Anna did trip then. She knew it was Kate, just
by the one eye she had left.

The guard grabbed the door and pulled it closed. "Don't you have some
work to do?" Anna nodded and bowed. She walked away as fast as she
could without running. Once she rounded a corner she stopped and
rested against the wall.
`What happen to Seska, if Kate looks that bad?' Anna was still trying
to get a grip on what had happen to Kate.

"Did I do that to her?" Anna asked no one. `Oh Bee where are you? I
could really use some help.' Anna decided she needed to get out, as
quickly as she could.
