As she sat in the closed room waiting, she glanced around. Not much
in the room, a table, chair on wheels and a cabinet with locked
doors. The lock would have only taken a second to pick, but what was
in side just wasn't worth the trouble.
"Trouble, huh.." She scoffed at herself. "Don't need ANYMORE
trouble
right now." She shakes her head and goes back to twirling the leash,
waiting for the `doctor' to come back. She swore she could STILL hear
him laughing.
She had walked in and asked to see a doctor, hoping they could help.
He took one look at her and was rolling on the floor laughing. She
was NOT impressed. But he straightened up when she pulled out a wad
of cash.
Now she was waiting, impatiently, for him to return. The door opened,
pulling her from her thoughts. The doctor walks in with two `helpers'
holding a bone saw and a giant pair of bolt cutters.
Her eyes went wide but the doctor rushed to reassure her that it
would be fine. They tried the cutters first, but only managed to get
the leash off. The collar wasn't budging. So they took the bone saw
to it. Bee was nervous about the saw, but the collar was worse. IT
HAD TO GO.
So here she was, in some rundown part of town, with a doctor who
probably hasn't had a practicing license in a good 10 years, trying
to get the dam thing off. They weren't having much success though.
The blade just bounced off the collar, leaving it undamaged and
unscratched. Shaking his head the doctor whistles out a long
breath. "Well Miss Carmen, I be damed if I know how to get it off. I
have tried everything I HAVE... and not even a scratch. Do you have
ANY idea what it's made from? That might help." He asked.
"Doc, you know as much as I do. Any suggestions on what I could try?
I can't just leave it on for the rest of my life. It's a reminder of
a life best left forgotten, if you know what I mean?" Bee asked him
as she jumped off the table.
Shaking his head again and scratching his chin in thought, the doctor
walked Bee to the back door of his office. "I have a brother in the
wrecker business, he might have something to cut through that.
Damndest thing I ever seen. How did you get stuck in it again?" He
asked.
Bee blushed and told him a kinky boyfriend talked her into it, then
lost the keys. The doctor patted her on the shoulder and said, "You
go on over and see Tommy boy, I'll call him, then he should be ready
when you get there. Don't worry , there has to be SOME way out of it.
We just haven't found it yet. You go see Tommy, don't worry. " He
ushered her out the door, handing her a paper with the address.
"Thanks Doc. I owe ya one." Bee hugged him then walked back to her
bike. Doc may not have a license, but he knew his stuff. Bee pulled
on her helmet and kicked over the bike.

Watching from a car down the block, a humped over figure sat ridged,
watching every move Bee made. She smiled knowingly and started the
car as Bee roared past. The car pulled out and followed Bee, keeping
a safe distance but NEVER losing site of her.
When Bee pulled into a garage the smile turned smug. She pulled the
car in a drive through and ordered a drink and watching Bee. After
getting her drink she pulled into a space where she could watch Bee,
without being seen herself. "Soon..." the voice cracked "very...
(cough).. soon..."

On the other side of town...
Anna was sitting at her desk going over the latest reported sighting
of a robed figure `lurking' around. It had to be some kind of new
cult since some of the sightings where to quick and TO spread out to
be just one person. Two maybe, but not one.
Her mind started to wander to a different `figure'. Bee had dominated
her thoughts for the last three months. She knew that Bee was still
around town, but had not actually SEEN her in three months. A bright
smile covered her face as she thought of the last time they had been
together...
Bee had stayed out of sight while the police secured the airfield.
Anna was with the other Det. checking the wreckage, looking for any
sign of Kate or Seska. They only pulled 2 bodies out of what was
left. That of the original pilot and the copilot.
No one could believe they could have gotten out in time. Anna was
eager to rap this up and get to her car before Bee decided to just
sneak away, again.
Once all the questions we're answered and she was released from the
scene she almost ran to her car and jumped in, startling Bee.
"Hey Angle, going my way?" Bee greeted her from the floor of the back
seat. Anna blushed, "I though you would have left by now. Not wanting
to get 'stuck' in one place..." The hurt in Anna's voice pulled at
Bee.
"Can we go somewhere and talk about this, a little more privet then
here? Please?" Bee knew she was begging, but when it came to her
perfection she knew she would do ANYTHING to make the hurt go away.
Anna was driving away from the airport, towards her place. She nodded
to Bee, but kept silent the whole way there.
Once inside the front door, neither wanted to talk about anything.
Lip's met and hands roamed over familiar curves. They lost themselves
in their feelings and ended up christening every room, twice in a
couple....
Anna was pulled from her thoughts by her phone ringing. Whishing it
to be Bee, she answered it. Of course it wasn't her, but it was s
solid lead on the robed figures. As she wrote the address down she
waved her Capt. over. She explained what she had and he agreed that
she should check it out. "I want you taking BACK UP. No more of this
loner crap." When she opened her mouth to reply, he held up a hand, "
NO arguments. You are one of the best we have. I don't want ANYTHING
happening to you. GOT IT?"
Anna looked into his eyes. He was more like a father to her, since
her father was killed in the line of duty. He took her under his wing
and tough her all he knew, like she was his daughter. Anna nodded and
turned to get the 'troops' she needed rounded up.
A hand on her shoulder stopped her. "Be careful out there kido. I
don't think I could handle losing you two." She smiled back at
him. "I am WAY to stubborn to die. We both know you need me around to
keep you inline."
He squeezed, then dropped his hand. "Just watch your back. I got a
weird feeling about this. " Anna nodded then walked through the doors
to the garage. On the way she picked up a couple other Det.'s who
weren't busy.
As they got into the cars to leave, Anna felt the hairs on the back
of her neck stand on end. She shook the feeling off as the
jitters, `always get them before anything big goes down ' she tried
to reason with herself. 'Yep, just need to focus on the plan'.

Bee set her bike on the kick stand and gracefully stepped away from
it. She had the feeling of being watched. She scanned around while
pulling off her helmet and putting it away. Nothing looked out of
place, well nothing except her.
She shook it off and walked up to the front of a garage. The bay
doors we're open with different vehicles in a couple and some men
standing around one, talking about it and pointing.
Bee walked in and asked for Tommy. A tall slender man was pointed out
to her. The group stopped talking as she got closer.
"I'm here to see Tommy boy, Doc sent me." Tommy's eyes lit up hearing
that she was here to see him.
"Don't get no FUNNY ideas, this is business." Bee quickly stated,
clearly for ALL to hear. Tommy nodded and led her to the back of the
shop. He turned and smiled, trying to be charming. "So what can I do
for you today, pretty lady?"
Bee rolled her eyes. Opening her jacket she showed him the
collar. "Doc tried taken it off with bolt cutters and a bone saw, but
it didn't even scratch it. He suggested I come see you." She watched
his eyes light up as he listened to her and examined the collar. He
whistled and scratched his chin. 'Must be a family trait' She though
as he worked the problem over much as Doc had.
He finally stood up straight. "Well I can see of maybe two options
for you to try........"
