Hazards of Daventry

The Sorcerer - a powerful and evil mage who lived in Daventry during the time of King Edward's reign.  While Edward and his wife, Maylie, were without child, the Sorcerer approached them with an offer.  He promised them a child, they needed only to give him Merlin's Mirror.  After discussing it amongst themselves, and the mirror, they agreed and gave Merlin's Mirror to the Sorcerer.  They did not conceive a child.  Later, while Sir Graham was questing for the Three Lost Treasures, including the stolen mirror, the Sorcerer was stalking the land in search of a test subject.  He had just created a new spell which would freeze its victims, and he longed to try it out on someone.  Fortunately, he never got close enough to Graham.

The Ogre - an evil, ugly, green Ogre who stalked the darker part of Daventry's woods during Edward's reign.  He grabs his victims and crushes them before eating them.  Fortunately, he never got a hold of Graham during the knight's quest for the Three Lost Treasures of Daventry.

The Dwarf - (Note: If you want the AGDI version of this character, its coming) a sneaky, thieving dwarf who lived in Daventry during Edward's reign.  He snuck around the woods throughout Daventry, seeking to steal treasure from any unwary adventurer.  He inhabited the passageway up to Cloudland.  When Maylie, Edward's wife, caught the plague, the Dwarf arrived with a magical root claiming it would cure her.  He touched it to her lips, and she began to revive.  He told Edward he would give them the whole root, in return for the Shield of Achille.  Edward gave the Dwarf the Shield, but the root did not help Maylie recover.  Later, when Graham was coming down through that passageway after grabbing the Chest of Gold, he avoided the Dwarf through sheer luck.  He also managed to avoid having anything stolen by the Dwarf while wandering Daventry.
