Codex: The Legion of Vengeance

Eventually, This page will contain whole extracts from Codex: Legion of Vengeance, the unofficial Codex for my Chapter. For now, it just contains a brief description of each unit and it's attributes.

Elites

Terminator Devastator Squad

This one's straightforward. basically, it's just a terminator Squad which can be equipped with four Heavy Weapons, not two. in exchange, it can't deep strike, the weapons cost more and you can only have one.

Troops

Apothecary Recovery team

Consists of 3-6 apothecaries and has a variety of capabilities, including restoring lost wounds for characters, negating a 'crew stunned' or 'crew shaken' result for vehicles and even bringing models back from the dead. very cool.

Heavy Support

Predator Disintegerator

Created using Technology recovered from the Ancient Starship, Great Moe, The Predator Disintegerator uses a small Neutron Cannon to target specific areas of an enemy vehicle. basically, if you score a glancing hit, then instead of rolling on the table, you roll to see if the crew have successfully hit your chosen target.

Land Raider Annihilator

Just when you thought Land raiders couldn't be any more terrifying... This one was Von Drax's Idea. The land raider annihilator is big, fast, virtually indestructable and carries enough firepower to take down a reasonably sized Hive City. In addition to the standard complement of twin linked Lascannons in each sponson, the Front firing Heavy Bolters can be upgraded to a twin linked autocannon, it is also equipped with a whirlwind Missile Launcher and can be given up to two Hunter-killer Missiles. All this does not affect it's carrying power, but it does cost 550 points.

Special Characters

Several Special Characters have been written into the book, all four main Characters and Caiaphas, the Chapter Lord. Moe is an inspiration Leader, Smudge carries a large keg of Beer, Hutchi has adapted Terminator armour to suit a techmarine, Caiaphas has digital lasers and a personal Guard and Loy can turn people into marshmallows and Squigs!
