So, today Ben finally joined me at the age of 31.  He likes to rub it in that I am so much older than him.  I made monkey buns for breakfast this morning, which I believe may have been a bigger hit with the kids than with Ben.  I think Jordan ate almost a whole loaf of bread on his own.  He ate more than Devan did!  I fed Nathanael oatmeal first, to limit his sugar intake, and he only had three.  Than we walked to the park (the big kids rode their bikes).  We had the party after Nathanael's nap - vanilla cake with vanilla frosting and vanilla ice cream.  Yes, he is so boring.  I had to get mint chocolate  chip ice cream for the kids to spice it up a bit.  Anyway, I made some self-hardening clay, and Jordan and Devan each came up with their own birthday creations.....They did a great job.  Then we walked to Laurie Ann's Kitchen for dinner (it's in between the two bridges).  Fanu was a treat, I think he only ate fries.  But it was tasty, and I didn't have to clean up after!  Always a plus.  Now the OH State game is on, and OH is winning, so I believe Ben would consider it the perfect end to the day.
