Happy 10th Birthday Jordan!!!!!!

So, today my son turned 10.  I can hardly believe it!!  He had a great day.  We started the morning with a small gift, then he had school.  He had a good day at school, and then we had dinner.  He requested tuna noodle casserole.  Who does that? !  But he loved it.  Then we had funfetti cake and birthday party ice cream.  Of course he loved all of his gifts, the big one being a bow and arrows.  We don't have a whole lot of room for it here, but he REALLY wanted it, and we are going to take it with us when we visit up north, where there are more wide open spaces.  There is also an archery range on base that we may try out as well.  We'll have to see what the regulations are there.

If you haven't noticed in the pics, Fanu had a pretty cute day too.  Ben put a new muffler on his truck, and Fanu was totally into helping.  I don't know what kind of damage he did under there, but he was using the screwdriver rather diligently.  He had greasy hands and everything.  He was rather jealous of presents, though.  And I believe he did end up opening one.  And he played with Jordan's new World Cup soccer ball all night.  Yeah, he was hyped up on a bit of sugar.

All in all, a good 10th birthday.  Double digits now.......

Yesterday we celebrated Jordan's birthday with Devan.  In the morning Ben took the kids to the beach so I could clean the house, which was awesome.  Then Devan made Jordan an easy bake oven cake, and got him a truck from Family Dollar.  Then we all went to see Over the Hedge at the theater.  Nathanael sat in his stroller through the ENTIRE movie!!!  When we were leaving I asked him if he liked it and he said, "It's funny.  Bear is funny!"  It was the cutest thing!  He loved it!!  And of course the big kids loved it too.  They sat in the row ahead of us and Fanu got antsy about halfway through cause he wanted to be up with the big kids.  So we just moved up the stroller and put on the breaks, and he was good the rest of the movie.  I don't think that is something we can count on regularly, but it was nice.
