We interviewed Pastor Fred Phelps, the man behind the 'God Hates Fags' website. We asked him the following questions: 1. What started your anti-homosexual campaign? Was there any particular event, or was it something you had always thought about? 2. Do you find being a Pastor helps your campaign? (in the sense that you are in a leadership position) Why? 3. Is the Westboro Baptist Church involved in other activities that impact as much as the anti-homosexual one? If so, what are they? 4. What is your motivation for the 'God Hates Fags' website? 5. What has the feedback on your website been like so far? Is there a lot of opposition (to the website) in this feedback? If so, why do you think people oppose your point of view? 6. What is your opinion of the 'God Loves Fags' website? 7. What was the inspiration for your funeral pickets? Do you feel this has any impact on the public? And if so, do you think it is positive or negative? (and why) 8. What has been the response to your picketing at Queer (Gay and Lesbian) events, such as marches? Do you travel far to picket at these events, or are they mostly local (say within an hour drive)? 9. What are your thoughts on Intersexed (those born with both male and female anatomy) people? (Intersexed people will sometimes identify as Queer due to their biology) 10. Is there anything you would like to say to our listeners? (who are mostly Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgendered or Intersexed) If you want to know his opinion on homosexuals, then most answers to your questions are on his website at www.godhatesfags.com . If you find this site a little depressing, them we recommend that you visit www.godhatesfigs.com , which is a wonderful spoof of the Phelps site! 13th October 2000 Sorry, I haven't got all the details from this show yet.
