Arbroath were the more purposeful team at the start, but as the game wore on Queen's gained command; yet they were inept in attack. David Weatherston missed an open goal around the hour mark, and Arbroath won it two minutes later with one of their only shots of the second half; an admittedly fine strike by Reilly.
