I was walking into English I when our teacher said something like "Watch the news. It's even bigger than Pearl Harbor." I was scared that we'd gotten into a war or something, and in a way, we did. I sat there and watched the second tower fall, right there in class. It was surreal, like I was watching a movie and not actual events. It looked like a movie plot! Most of that fateful day was spent not doing homework, but keeping a watchfull eye on what was going on in NY. I wasn't really scared about my safety, but afraid for the millons I knew would be under a greater risk then us here in Iowa. I learned that Osamma is a bastard, the sickest on in the universe. I can't believe someone had the heart to do that to other living humans. Makes you question not only his sanity, but his intelligence and his humanity. He isn't human. Not by a long shot. Ever since then, we've been questioning our country's security and safety. What if we are no longer safe as we once thought? That has increased at airports and such nationwide. Tourists from other countries were afraid to come over to America for fear of another terrorist attack. That hurt our economy. And us. But since then, life is beginning to get normal for us commonfolk. But for some it will never be the same. Maybe for anybody it will not be the same. A year ago, most of us had never even heard of the Taliban, let alone were worrying about getting attacked by them! It's almost been a year since the horrifying attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. Almost a year since our world was turned upside down, and we are still here. They haven't brought us down yet, and they'll be damned if they try it again. Hey BinLaden You can kiss my royal @$$!!!!!!!!!!!! And everyone else's. We'll get you someday. You can't hide forever. America will get you. Count on it. We will bring you to justice and you'll be sorry you ever F**ed with America. And New York. And the world. |
