She shivered. The Door- the one forbidden place to her in all the Moon Kingdom. She didn't know where it led' only that it was dangerous, which made her perhaps scareder than she should have been. But maybe not. For who knew what lay beyond it? Another world, perhaps. Or an evil creature who eats little girls, as the Venus Princess, Mina, told her.
And her mother was so busy now- too busy to make time for her little girl. "Poor princess Serenity," the Ladies of the Court would say when they saw the girl huddled all alone, seemingly lost in her own little world. "No one to take care of her, what with the War and all."
Serenity sighed. The only person who made her feel safe now that the Wueen was away, was Trielaeh, the dark Princess from a neighboring galaxy. She was dark, and mysterious, and even creepy to some people. But not to Serenity. No, she was a hero to Serenity.
Because of that day.
Serenity shivered. She didn't want to think about that-not now, not ever. She decided to go see Trieleah.

Queen Serena woke with a start. What an odd dream....or was it some memory of her past life? Even as she was waking up, the dream faded from her mind. Before she could dwell on it, there was a knock on her bedroom door.
"Serena!!" Raye's impatient voice could be heard. "We're all here, ready for the camping trip."
"What trip?" Serena mumbled, her mind far away.
"The one we've planned for the last week. Idiot!!"
"Oh, right. Well.....hold on...."
Raye barged in' Lita, Mina, and Amy behind her. "No hold ons!!! The Outers are already on their way, and we have to get there first or we set up camp. So, come on!"
Serena glared at her. "I am TRYING to sleep!!"
"Well, i am TRYING to get us all there so we don't have to do any work!!" Raye shot back.
"Well-well--" Serena sputtered. "I'm TIRED."
Amy tutted. "Woudl you two PLEASE stop fighting? Serena, we really do need to get going. Raye, stop being rude."
