The band known as Queen Beee exist since april 2002. The main idea of the band started when Fege (lead guitar player & singer) met Seggio( bass guitar player) introduced by a mutula friend. Fege had tried to make up a band during the high shool,but with a little result,and Seggio had bought a brand new bass and was craving to play it...so the idea of pl�aying was automatic! The first line up was of 5 members,the girls' closest friends,but enthusiasm sometimes isn't enough! Step two was the arrival of Alice, former member of the Flocks e Fege's flat-mate: the band was completed with Stefano at drums. With this line up Queen Beee had their debut concert at Thunder Road 11 january 2001 supporters of Grand Mother Milk...only 6 songs, but a great concert. Then a lot of problem with the line up: Alice was replaced by Barbara, Stefano by Lelu and so on....for about a year our line up is not stable,since may 2002, when Alessandro begins the new and definitive Queen Beee drummer and we start to play as a trio.... during that period QB plays a lot in clubs and festivals:Bloom-Mezzago
,Indian Saloon-SestoSG, Thunder at our project LadyTour! We have played with Argies at Madly Pub,and with Montesas at the washin' machine party!
...But we missed something, at since we don't wanted another guitar player, we started to looking for an organ player...and we found her! Her name is Angie,and she is the last Queen Beee member since summer 2003...we have write some new songs and put on a demo called "Shke yourself,honey", that you can ear here or order at "le amiche giuste" distro. In october 03 we have played with Motorama, and then at the Field, and a lot of time with the fuzzamentos conspiracy. In dec 03 we have played at Bus-one festival with Hermits and in Rome at New years day. Currenly we are played a lot and try to record our second demo. |
