Tucker |
We bought Tucker on Feb 4, 2005 as a 2 week old bottle baby. He is a beautiful mix of Boer/Nubian that we bought with the intent of producing both meat and diary type kids. He is a very gentle buck, and grew at a good rate. We bred him last fall to our does, and have been very pleased with what he is producing.
He's a silly boy, and fun to be around. There's not many bucks that you can say that about!

That's him in April 2005 above, and April 2006 below...with the same doghouse. |

He and Mocha continually play "king of the mountain" on that doghouse. |

Here is a not so great shot of him at just about a year old. I attempted to disbud him at 2 weeks of age when I bought him, but his horns grew anyway. He is well over 100 pounds now, and still very gentle with people.
I know that things work out for a reason, and since Mocha and Tucker are pen-mates I know that Tucker needs his horns. |
