Arabella |

Arabella is an older doe, perhaps about 8 years old. A friend of mine bought her and her doe kid in Jan 2005 to get them out of a very bad place. We are guessing that she is an Alpine/Pygmy cross. What we know for sure is that she doesn't trust people easily, but once she trusts you she is very affectionate.
She is very fearful of men, and I'm guessing she was abused at some point in her life. My friend brought her to me when she was getting picked on by the rest of the herd; and she has fit in here very well. Arabella and Faith are best friends and can often be seen laying in the sun together...Arabella almost always naps resting her head on Faith.
She is a piggy goat, and loves her treats...and she has a sweet tooth!
Her udder is well attached and she is an easy milker except for her smaller teats. Just as all the other does, she "earns her keep" as a milker; although she will most likely spend her golden years here as a pampered barn queen. |

She is such a gentle girl, but always on the lookout for something bad. I'd love to know her history, but I'm betting it's full of sadness. |

Arabella was bred to Tucker for a Spring 2006 kid and gave birth to a HUGE bouncing baby girl, Loki! Loki is unique in that she is solid white, not a drop of color on her...plus she is polled! |
