Part 35 continued

"Well, couldn’t you at least park in front of my house?" he asked hopefully.
"Nope, sorry, no can do. If Sara saw us out there, she’d know that we were helping you,"
Richard said, beginning to hand all the grocery bags to Paul.
"And that’s a bad thing?" Paul questioned.
"Hell yeah!!! You thought she was evil bitch woman before. It is crucial that she thinks that you’re sensitive enough to have done this all yourself. Now go show her your S.N.A.G. qualities and get back into her life."
"YEAH! Go get her," Richard said encouragingly.
"Right!" Paul said enthusiastically. "I’m gonna get the girl. Wish me luck fellas." With that, he jumped out of the car, hawked up a wad of phlegm and spat it on the nature strip, before somehow, grabbing all the shopping bags and struggling off down the footpath.
"Good luck Paul," Rich called out just as Paul purposely tripped a roller blader who had very nearly knocked him over. Richard sighed and turned to Tim. "I’m really doubting that this is a good idea. I can’t believe we’re doing this to Sara."
"Too late now," Tim said matter of factly. "That is of course unless you want to try and cut Mr McDermott’s little mission short," he said, indicating to Paul who’d just kicked a dog that was relieving itself on his letter box.
Richard giggled nervously. "Get us out of here Tim and put your foot down will ya. I don’t want to hang around for this."
Tim saluted to Rich, started the car, executed a rather messy and quite dangerous U-turn before tearing off down the street, tyres screaming.
"Good luck little buddy," Tim said to himself before concentrating on the road ahead of him.
