Hi and welcome to the Clonard College Debating Committee site. The debating committee this year, hopes to spice up the profile of th committee. It seems too many people dismiss the debating committee as the dull and boring, which is why our goal is to rename the committee, showing that we are more that just about debating. The new name will be decided on and in place for next year.
As well, as our main focus this year being the cadbury fundraiser, we plan on running several student/teacher debates, soapbox compsetetions and some new activities. Already we have run a student/teacher debate, the details of which can be found on this site, and our fundraiser is going well.
We hope to see you support other debates in the future because they really are fun.
