ataraxia's story
i met steven at this year's mtv vmas. i went with my friend whom i've known for
years, the lead singer of a band that attended the awards. he invited me to tag
along, and of course i went! i knew that steven would be presenting an award. so,
i sat there for a while and watched. i almost died when steven came on stage!! i
don't get star-struck, except with him. my friend went off to do an interview and
i was just hanging out when i saw steven, 6 feet away. i was so nervous! but, he
started walking in my direction, and kept going. then he stopped cuz he had something
else to say to the guy he was talking to and as he walked by me again, he said,"hey".
and i said hey back, trying to be oh so casual. but my mouth was so dry. and then
he asked me if i was waiting for soeone and i said,"yeah, he's doing an interview."
and we chatted for like 30 seconds (well, he did, i was in awe) and my friend came
back. and it turns out that steven remembered meeting him like 2 years ago, which
was cool cuz he also went to one of their shows.
i don't know why i just wrote this. i feel like a nerd. i am just so fascinated
by steven, i don't know if i'll ever get over it. i have been in love with the man
for 10 years. but, meeting him was very cool and i hope to have another similar
experience, except this time i'll talk to him!
