This is before Johnny Depp got too popular for my liking. Go rent it. If you don't like it, then tell me so I can punch you in the kidneys. Depp wears a very nice hat. I like hats. I do. It's a best picture. How can you go wrong? Also made in 1984, this movie about about music makes my January monthly movie. If you are into the artsy type, this one is for you. The life of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, some fact some fiction, all intriguing. Go rent the dvd, if you do not like it, you can blame me.

Tis the season, and there is no better Christmas movie then Gremlins. Well, that may be debatable, but missing this movie is not. This movie was made in 1984, according to my super fly internet research. But to cut to the chase, it's about Billy who gets a pet Maguai as a gift, a mysterious, adorable little critter. Things get a little crazy when Billy doesn't attend to the Maguai's specific living conditions, and soon the city is crawling with gremlins. I do not know how to write to make something sound exciting and entertaining, but this movie definitly fits the bill. So go rent it. It's so old, it'll only cost you like ninety nine cents.
