Sniper (click to go to the sniper homepage)

Written for a university course, this game has you sniping either bush or saddam.

Originally written for Linux using OpenGL and GLUT and later ported to Windows. Completed around April or May of 2003.

IBF (click to download)

ibfscr.jpg (4444 bytes)

A mammoth project.  This game was made in a team environment, which ultimately fell apar (save two of my good friends).  The game was originally an RPG, but when artists could not be found, was converted into a 2D top down shooter.  This is the first game I've ever written in DX.  It has three rather large level, many weapons, many baddies, you get the picture.  Multiplay was hacked in at the end, but I don't think it works very well :)

This crazy project was finally completed on March 15th 2000.   What a memorable day.

Note: best run in Win9x but in a pinch you can try setting your card for 16bits colour depth. heh, sorry :)

AMOEBA 3D (click to download)

am3dscr.jpg (5548 bytes)

In my final year of highschool, my Algebra teacher made me do a big research project.  She gave me a list of topics for me to choose from.   Without glancing at the sheet I told her I was going to write a 3D game.  And this is it :)  Written entirely in Win32 (no dx or ogl) This is the result.  A not so accurate, 3D space invaderish type, next-generation Amoeba game.  <sigh>

Oh, the zip includes my actual math project writeup ;) Heheh, all the math I put into the game [believe me, there was a lot!].

This build was compiled on January 9th/2000 at 11:45pm ~wow.. before midnight.  Coded in C of course.

EEDIOT'S REVENGE (click to download)

eedtscr.jpg (4809 bytes)

Wow.  Remember when gamedev.net wasn't gamedev.net but sweet.oblivion?  And remember TANSTAAFL held that obsolete game's programming contest.  Well this is what it was for.  Written completely in DOS mode using ascii graphics, this game is truly obsolete!  But addictive nontheless.  Try it out.  Btw, this game one first place ;) yay.  Though there weren't that many entries anyway *sigh*.

This game was coded in C.  The final build was on Feb.3/99 at around 3:30am.

GOODFUN (click to download)

Gfshot.jpg (4477 bytes)

Another DOS Game.  My first game to use a configuration file.  You can modify gravity, velocities, etc. from the config file.   Enjoy! :)

Though I don't quite remember when, I *THINK* this build was made on August27/1998.  It was probably coded in Watcom C.

PING! (for win95) (click to download)

pingscr.gif (5543 bytes)

Ping!  This is one of my favourite games... It's basically a twist on the '72 classic, pong.  The objective is to knock the balls past the other player's paddle.  You can supercharge the balls, or utilize either the "happy-men" or the "mutli-ball".  This game was my first game written in C, as well as my first game involving the sound blaster (those routines were written in a night!   yuck!).  Note:  This game was written originally for DOS (not windows!).   So if you want to run it under windows download ping0_75.zip (no sound support).  That should work.

This game was written in Watcom C 11.0 and finished on 3/15/98.

SPACE NOISE (236k) (click to download)

snscr.gif (2599 bytes)

This game was still in beta before I dropped the project.  It was dropped because it was the first time I attempted a seriously large game.  Of course, I never planned it out and thus, the code turned into an awful mess.  Alas, the game is still playable.  There are six ships to choose from.  You can also play against the computer or with a friend (same screen).  The game might run too fast tho, since it was designed for a very low end 486.

This game was written in Turbo Pascal 7.0 for DOS and finished on 6/18/97.

JELLY ATTACK (click to download)

jellyscr.jpg (6214 bytes)

This was a sort of project for my grade 8 class.  We were to invent something, so I decided to invent a game.  What did my creative genius come up with?   Yup, another space invader's clone ;(  (damn brain!).  This is the sequal to amoeba attack and was slapped together super quick, aiy. However,  this was my first game that used mode13h (320x200x256) graphics mode!  Yay :)

BTW: There are two modes to the game.  To run mode one, run j15.exe.   To run mode two, run j6.exe.

This game was written in Turbo Pascal 7.0 for DOS.  Can't remember the date it was finished though.

AMOEBA ATTACK (click to download)

amscr.jpg (2795 bytes)

This game was the second game I ever made.  It's a cheezy space invaders clone using text graphics.  I have found memories of making this game since it was the first time I used arrays in my code.  Yeah, don't laugh :(

This game was written in Turbo Pascal 7.0 for DOS.  I can't remember when I finished it though :(.

KEY GRABBER (click to download)

keyscr.jpg (4244 bytes)

Oh man! I still remember this cheese like it was yesterday!  This is the first game I ever made!  Haha!  Alright, basically there's a flashin' 'B' (for badguy) and you're this flashing number.  You try to run around around grabbing the flashing 'k' (the key).  Hence, you're the keygrabber ;)  And there's this blue "river" that the 'B' can't cross.  Cheese!!!  Anyway, the game runs in DOS using text graphics.

This game was written in Turbo Pascal 7.0 for DOS.  I can't remember when I finished it though :(.
