March 2901 - Richard Thomas Garrison is born in Boise, Idaho on March 9th.

March 2920 - Garrison graduates with honors from the Earthcom Enlisted Academy as a Marine Private. He is assigned to work at Earthcom Central Starbase as he awaits recruitment by a Capital Craft Unit.
Later that month, two Earthcom intra-stellar cruisers repel a Terran/Raider attack near Neptune. One cruiser, the ECV-Accretion, loses all but eleven crewmembers. The other craft and all its crew perish enroute to protected space. A Terran/Police carrier responds to Commander Chris Boardman's distress transmission from the Accretion, chasing away the already battered Raiders and towing the Earthcom vessel back to Starpath.
Commander Boardman's subsequent personnel requisitions not only deplete Starpath's already low reserve of Engineers and Marines stationed at Tradecom, but also cuts into the station's own crew complement. In response, Vanguard Fleet transfers Garrison's Section, a Unit of fifty Marines, from Earthcom Central Starbase to replenish the Starpath's Marine complement.
Due to its extensive damage, the ECV-Accretion undergoes its first minor refit four months ahead of schedule to save the time and cost of repairing obsolete components. Commander Boardman recruits Garrison and ninteen of his original Squad mates to serve on the ECV-Accretion which relaunches at the end of the month.
April 2920 - While patroling the Uranus region, the ECV-Accretion intercepts and questions a transport believed to be carrying Insurgent personnel and freight to the Gazer1 Starstation in orbit of Pluto. Just as the Accretion beams over an inspection team, the armed transport opens fire and beams two dozen Criminal and Raider Marines over to the Earthcom vessel. The ensuing chaos aboard the Accretion allows the transport to escape the region. Garrison and the other Marines manage to cut down two thirds of the intruders. But the rest load a shuttle with stolen cargo and escape. In the end, fourteen crew members are dead; and the rest manage to repair the ship enough to make it to Gazer1.

December 2925 - [insurgents destroy accretion and three other craft near Pluto] Garrison completes his seven years of service to Earth Command, which includes his time at the Enlisted Academy. He re-enlists without hesitation and is imediately promoted to Corporal. [garrison assigned to seeker]

February 2937 - EarthCOM promots Garrison from the rank of Ensign and the position of System Engineer on the ECV Seeker to Lieutenant and Chief Engineer.
April 2937 - The ECV Seeker receives its first full overhaul at Starpath Starstation.
2940 - Garrison is promoted to Commander.
2945 - Garrison is promoted to Captain.
August 2949 - The UFN makes first contact with the Zelon nation. While cartographing Zelon space, the ECV Seeker observes a sizable alien fleet entering the region. The new group of warships, from the then-unknown Credian nation, launch a horrifying nuclear attack on the planet's surface. The Zelons' understandable suspicion of the ECV Seeker's mission quickly turns to open hostility. Immediately, craft from both alien militaries turn on the bewildered Terrans. Refusing to return fire, the Terran Commander orders a retreat to the Polaris Starsystem. Several well placed Zelon missiles desecrate the ECV Seeker's upper decks, killing all bridge crew. Richard Garrison assumes command and reroutes the ship's primary controls to Engineering.
Convinced that the Terrans had stolen the artifact for which they searched, the Credians persue the ECV Seeker through the Sirius Starsystem, boarding the Terran vessel and extracting a heavy death toll on the crew. As Chief Engineer Garrison spearheads a marine squad counter-offensive to retake the forward section of the ship, three EarthCOM cruisers emerge from the Jupiter jumpgate. The Terrans demand that the Credians personally search the ECV Seeker right then and there to verify that the artifact was not aboard. Impressed with the Terrans' show of force but initial refusal to fight, the Credian Commander agrees, so as to not strain relations any further. Because of Garrison's courage and at the request of the surviving crew, EarthCOM promots him to Commander of the ECV Seeker.
October 2949 - The ECV Seeker undergoes its second major overhaul at Genesis Starstation.
2950 - Garrison is promoted to Brigadier.
July 2952 - Earth Command confines the ECV Seeker to Sol for the final ten years of its commission. Maintaining command of the Seeker, Garrison is promoted to Commandant of the Mars BattleGroup under the Solar Regional Command.
2955 - Garrison is promoted to Division General.
2960 - Garrison is promoted to Corps General.
January 2962 - After making Terran history by establshing first contact with the Empirians, the ECV Seeker is officially decommissioned and supposedly dismantled. The Earth Command Alliance promotes Richard Garrison to Wing Commandant of the Solar Regional Command.
2965 - Garrison is promoted to AF General.
2970 - Garrison is promoted to AFG General.
2975 - Garrison is promoted to Branch Commandant.
2980 - Garrison is promoted to Arm Commandant.

August 2997 - In the Battle of Mars, Akira destroys the MKI ECV Seeker, killing Richard Garrison and all his crew. Richard Garrison dies at 96 after serving 77 years in Earth Command.
