Níu Heimar is a cluster of nine Venerean Starbases comprising Earth Command HQ.  Ásgarðr,  Álfheimr, and Múspell float in the atmosphere.  Vanaheimr, Miðgarðr, and Jötunheimr rest on the surface.  Niflheimr, Svartálfheimr, and Niðavellir, lie underground.

These mostly militarized starbases are together designated Níu Heimar.

In addition to the civilian land settlements, Venus citizens live and work in fourteen floating cities: Thrudheim, Thrudvang, Bilskirner, Ydaler, Valaskjalf, Sokvabek, Gladsheim, Thrymheim, Breidablik, Himminbjorg, Folkvang, Glitner, Noatun, and Landvide.  These cities have next to no permanent Galcom/Earthcom presence but more than enough Police/militia to keep the planetary peace.


Ragnarök Starstation houses Vanguard Fleet HQ, and it directly orbits the sun at half the altitude of Mercury.
