The
quaternary logical concept (Chathuskotikaya) in
Buddhist Philosophy engenders a complex and subtle response to conditions of
the uncertainty. It is widely applied in Computer Science,
Artificial Intelligence and some Meta Physical areas. Computers "decision making" when they manipulate precise facts that have been reduced
to strings of zeros and ones statements that are either true or false, which
is based on Aristotelian logic. Aristotelian
thinking does not merely challenge
the previous laws of logic. According to the Aristotelian thinking, logic cannot make definite predictions in
uncertainty. Instead, even if it gives the most precise description possible of how things
are now, we learn from Aristotelian thinking that the most logics can do is predict the probability that things
will turn out one way, or another, or another way still. |
