| Baby's Guardian Angel by Jose de Jesus Rocha, Monterrey, Mexico Our beautiful son, Martin, was born on November '96. He has slept alone in his own roomsince he was four months old at that time we used the cradle's "first stage" protection that has two parts. However, one of them was set loosely. When Martin was six months old, one night (around 1:00 a.m.) , we heard him screaming. My wife, Angeles, and I went out through his room and saw him crying on the floor: Martin had slipped from the head to the back of the cradle and had fallen to the floor. We have no carpet or rug on the floor, therefore there was nothing to smooth the knock. My wife grabbed him and, after a while, he stopped crying. It appeared that Martin was crying of fear and had no hurt or pain at all. Everyone who get knocked against the floor on his childhood knows that you can't stop crying even if your Mom's arms are around you. After a medical consultation, we found that Martin didn't suffer any trauma at all. The day after the incident, my wife told me that she was awake that night and she didn't hear the blow of him against the floor. The only explanation that we have is that Martin's guardian angel kept Martin from suffering physical damage by smoothing the fall to the hard floor. We pray daily for his protection at every moment and God has answered our prayers. It Is needless to say that since that night, we use cradle's full protection. |
