Personality: Was somewhat shy as a child, he had a hard time meeting new people. Others usually had to initiate the conversation to get to know him. Even after impressing Rykeith, he still mostly kept to himself. As he grew up beside K�nadill, J�lance, Sunita, and N�no, R�fael began to be more outgoing. It was having real friends for the first time in a while that got him to start being more talkative. He became a more confident person as he grew up, and he feels even more confident when his weyrmate Jeska is around. His time as a Wingleader thought him how to be responsible and to take charge when necessary, but also to listen to those around him. Although he never made it past apprentice, R'fael tries to keep all of his minercraft skills sharp, and still enjoy spending some time working on old projects.

History: Ryfael was born in Tellegra Weyr to Ryozar and Vilael. The couple was very surprised by his coming, because it had been a dozen turns since they last had a child, and both their current children were young girls. While his daughters were apprentices at the dolphincraft hall when his son turned twelve, Ryozar would not have his only son to apprentice anywhere but Tellegra�s minercraft hall. After three years in his apprenticeship, Ryfael had gained the friendships of Kanadill, Jalance, Sunita, and Nenokal.

One day, a green dragon and her rider visited the minercraft hall, and chose Ryfael, the first of his friends to be searched. The joyous child, though reluctant to leave his friends, became a candidate and stood, but was left standing on the hatching grounds. After a brief period of slight depression, Ryfael got pulled himself together, and would stand again, this time before the clutch of Weyrwoman Arameelia�s dragon, Tellegra�s senior queen Zeranth. This was made better by the fact that Kanadill had now been searched, and would stand right beside Ryfael. Ryfael was then chosen by the bronze dragonet Rykeith, and the boy could not have been any happier. R�fael and Rykeith spent their weyrlinghood swimming at lakes and the ocean. R�fael promised Rykeith that they would someday see all of Pern.

After graduating from weyrling classes, R�fael soon became a Wingleader and named his wing the �Midnight Flame.� Soon enough, all the friends he had made as an apprentice, candidate, and then weyrling, joined as his wingriders. The very young Wingleader was somewhat overwrought at times with the pressures that came with being a leader at such a young age, but with the incredibly wise Rykeith always guiding him, he always found a way to get through things. R�fael had a very high respect for Tellegra�s Weyrleader, S�ton, and always hoped to be as good a leader.

While several events happened in his years at Tellegra, things eventually began to slow down, and for the first time since impression, R�fael got bored. Wanting to see more of Pern, as he had promised Rykeith turns earlier, R�fael asked for a transfer, to most everyone�s surprise. At the last minute, K�nadill and his dragon Kenth decided they would go along with R�fael and Rykeith to their new Weyr�Sunset Weyr. J�lance would have gone with them as well, but decided to stay at Tellegra, as N�no was still a weyrling, and would be the only one in the group left. Months later, both J�lance and N�no transferred to Sunset Weyr to reunite with R�fael and K�nadill. The dragonriders had a great couple of turns at Sunset, which were filled with fun and excitement, even though R�fael was now only a Wingsecond, and the four were in separate wings. However, K�nadill had also become a Wingsecond, giving the bluerider his first real taste of authority.

Eventually, R�fael heard that Semirath, Quasar Weyr�s now senior queen, was to rise for her first flight. Excited by the chance of becoming a Weyrleader, and very attracted by the lovely Weyrwoman Jeska, R�fael and Rykeith rushed to Quasar to join the flight. After a long flight, Rykeith caught the golden dragon Semirath. Soon after the flight, R�fael and Jeska feel very deeply in love, and Jeska announced to him that, as a result of the flight, she was now pregnant with his child. R�fael could not have been happier. In one day, he had become Weyrleader of Quasar Weyr, Jeska�s weyrmate, and a soon-to-be father.

Not satisfied with the ones there, R�fael called out to Tellegra and Sunset to retrieve his lost dragonrider and flamewherranger friends he had made over the turns to transfer to Quasar. Rather than bringing them all together to form his former wing, however, he instead split them among the wings, even making K�nadill a Wingleader. Since then, Semirath has laid her first clutch, which hatched and was impressed successfully by young Quasarians. Jeska has also given birth to her�s and R�fael�s first born son, Rykarel, now on his way to reaching his first turn of age.

Sky Blue
Age: 8 turns
History: Ryfael impressed Sky Blue at the age of twelve, around the time he apprenticed. He always saw Sky Blue as his ray of hope towards impressing a dragon. When he was left standing, it was Sky Blue who finally got the boy through his sadness enough to stand once more.
Personality: Sky Blue is much like R�fael in the sense that he�s helpful and responsibly. Thought only a blue, Sky Blue likes to take charge when in a group of fire-lizards, and has even had success taking that command. When R�fael calls him, Sky Blue is there in an instant, not letting distractions get in the way of his duty to the one he looks to.

Silver Moon
Age: 3 turns
History: R�fael received Silver Moon while a dragonrider at Tellegra. He didn�t really expect to get Silver Moon, as he already had a fire-lizard, and his dragon. Yet, when he received her egg, he took it gladly, and wound up with a beautiful silver flitter by his side.
Personality: Surprisingly enough, Silver Moon is nowhere near as commanding as Sky Blue. She�s more the laid back kind, who likes to play games and to be around other fire-lizards, as well as people.

History: Throughout his life, Rykeith has been giving R�fael advice on what to do. Rykeith was the one who convinced R�fael to request the position of Wingleader originally. He has saved R�fael from several problems they encountered in their time as Tellegra leaders, as well as some occasions at Sunset. Rykeith now keeps a vigilant eye over Quasar Weyr, his lovely home, alongside his golden mate Semirath.
Personality: As a dragonet, Rykeith usually mirrored his riders shy and responsible nature. He has always loved flying at night, when it's nice and peaceful. Rykeith is always up for a swim, and can enjoy himself for candlemarks there. Rykeith has always been the wisest dragon, at least in R'fael's eyes. He can always be called upon for some words of wisdom right when his rider needs them most. Rykeith likes to spend his time with his mate Semirath, and would do anything for his, "Golden Queen."
