History: Mari is a former Harper's apprentice, one who was on her way to being a journeyman when she was searched. She decided that she wanted to be a weyrharper and asked the Masterharper if she could. He decided that it was a good idea, made her a journeyman, and sent her onto Quasar to be his unofficial Harper there. She knows that she won't be a master ever, but that doesn't bother her.
Personality: sarcastic, but not meanly so, she more says things that come out sarcastic without meaning them too. She's a little shy, but not noticeably so, since it's mostly around guys that she likes.
