Personality: Knadill has always been a very funny character. Outgoing and fun to be around, he usually comes up with comical remarks. In all the turns that theyve been friends, Knadill has never ceased to make Rfael laugh. When he impressed Kenth, its as if they were made for each other, the dragon only amplifying the already silly riders personality, though also giving him constant competition as the Weyrs joker. Aside from his joking side, however, Knadill does have leadership abilities, which usually go unnoticed even by himself. It was Kenth and Rfael who knew Knadill had the makings of a leader, even though only a bluerider, which convinced Rfael to waver from the traditional wings arrangements, modeling it after Sunsets, so as to make his friend a Wingleader. Knadill is also very proud of his dragon, who despises anyone who thinks blues any less than bronzes or browns, and knows that he and Kenth are, as Rfael insists, One of a Kind.

History: Kanadill was born in Tellegra Weyr to Kanaron and Anadilll. He was the first of five boys the couple would have, yet always seemed to be the most immature of the bunch, his brother Anaron usually more mature than his older brother. Coming from a family composed almost entirely our of harpers, the last place he wanted to apprentice in was the harpercraft hall. Luckily for him, his parents always allowed him to make his own decisions in that respect. Already knowing he wanted to be a dragonrider some day, he reasoned that dragonriders need fire-stone, which must be mined, so apprenticing at the minercraft hall would mean he was helping out in the fight against thread. After three years in his apprenticeship, Kanadill had gained the friendships of Ryfael, Jalance, Sunita, and Nenokal.

One day, a green dragon and her rider visited the minercraft hall, and chose Ryfael, the first of his friends to be searched. While jealous of his friend, Kanadill still supported him all the way. When Ryfael failed to impress, Kanadill joined the others in making him feel better. A few months later, a bluerider came, and left with Kanadill. The boy proudly stood right beside Ryfael before the clutch of Weyrwoman Arameelias dragon, Tellegras senior queen Zeranth. Kanadill was chosen by the smart-alecky blue dragon Kenth, and literally jumped for joy on the hatching grounds. Knadills weyrlinghood was very entertaining with the growing Kenth around, and they spent most of their time swimming in the ocean.

Even after they graduated, Knadill didnt think his and Kenths future would be very difficult, the traditional Tellegra not holding too much responsibility for blues. He was glad when Rfael became a Wingleader, and immediately joined his Midnight Flame wing. While at Tellegra, Knadill and Kenth joined nearly every green dragons flight, even Sunitas Joyalaths, but to no avail. The pair did, however, succeed in becoming searchrider and dragon, bringing in candidates who impressed at later clutches. When he heard Rfael was transferring to Sunset Weyr, Knadill decided that the bronzerider would be lost without him, and jumped at the chance to follow him down South.

Soon after arriving at Sunset, both K'nadill and Rfael became Wingseconds. This surprised the bluerider, who was use to Telegras traditional wing style, and now had real authority for the first time in his life. They had not been there long before Kenth joined yet another greenflight, once again losing. After some months, Jlance and Nno joined them at Sunset. The four Sunset riders enjoyed their lives for quite a while there, and went through several mportant and fun events. Eventually, Knadill took a brief trip back to Tellegra, hearing that Scouth, the last green he knew, would rise. This time, Kenth was victorious, beating out even several bronzes. Knadill won Alaria over rather easily, and has been with her since.

Eventually, Rfael heard that Semirath, Quasar Weyrs now senior queen, was to rise for her first flight. Rfael and Rykeith rushed to Quasar to join the flight, where Rykeith caught the golden dragon Semirath. Knadill was very happy for his friend, but with Alaria now, was not yet ready to follow the bronzerider a second time. Soon enough, though, Rfael called out to Tellegra and Sunset to retrieve his lost dragonrider and flamewherranger friends he had made over the years to transfer to Quasar. Rather than bringing them all together to form his former wing, however, he instead split them among the wings, even making Knadill a Wingleader. Knadill was somewhat reluctant to accept the position, having they would all re-form the Midnight Flame they had been at Tellegra turns ago. Yet, Rfael insisted Knadill had what it took to be a real leader, and Kenth reassured him it was so. Now leading the blue, black, and white dragons, Knadills wing is known as the Dark Moon.

Knadill and Alaria live very happily at Quasar, among all their friends. Both the blue and the green riders are amongst Quasars best searchriders, and frequently bring in candidates to impress. As always, Knadill is right there when Rfael needs him, even present at baby Rykarels birth. He is Rfaels clutchmate, has knows the Weyrleader longer than anyone else in Quasar, and will always be his best friend.

Pets: 2 Fire-lizards

Brown Swimmer
Age: 8 turns
History: Kanadill impressed Swimmer at the age of twelve, around the time he apprenticed, and a few months after Ryfael impressed Sky Blue. He named his brown Swimmer without having put much thought into it, and was surprised when the flitter turned out to be just thata swimmer, spending more time in the water than in the air, as most of the other fire-lizards did.
Personality: As his name indicates, Swimmer loves to spend time in the water. He even won a swimming race once against Sunitas green flitter, Great Lady. He is also much like Knadill and Kenth in that he enjoys joking arouns, though not as dedicated to it as the one he looks to.

Bronze Sunflame
Age: 3 turns
History: Knadill had already impressed Kenth, and was living at Tellegra, when he received his bronze Sunflame. He first thought the bronze would be rather moody compared to Kenth and Swimmer, but turned out to be rather quiet. Knadill saw the flit as a small Rykeith, and thought him very proper, as he now had a way to show anyone could impress a blue or a bronze.
Personality: He will go along with the joking, but would rather spend his time flying around, exploring the Weyr with other fire-lizards, be they his friends or wild. He doesnt make as much of an impression on people as the rest of the group, but hes still there when someone needs him.

Dragon
Name: Kenth
Age:5 turns
Color: Blue
Dam: Golden Zeranth
Sire: Bronze Savkauth
History: Kenth was always thought the world of his rider, and has encouraged him every step of the way. The first thing being his insistence in going on search, he supported Knadill and let him know he could handle being a Sunset Wingsecond, and now a Quasar Wingleader. He always knew he would eventually catch a green, and insists he lost all of his earlier flight because none of them were the one.
Personality: Just like the silly rider he looks to, Kenth was always been a joker. His classic joke is flying right into a lake while his dry rider is still mounted. Though you wouldnt think to look at him, Kenth is rather sensitive, able to bring many candidates in at a time; but he is also proud, and insists everyone he has searched will impress sooner or later. Kenth has a high respect for Rykeith, reflecting all the help Knadill and Rfael have been to each other throughout their lives.
