History:
Jeska is the oldest in a family of five; She grew
up with her tanner father and weaver mother, 2 identical twin younger sisters
and 2 younger brothers. When Jeska was 13 and her brothers were 4 and 5, she to
took them on a picnic trip out to the sea shore, so that the dolphins could meet
them. On the way home, they were overtaken by a band of holdless people. Jeska
escaped only with a knife gash on her arm from trying to protect her brothers,
whom the renegades killed for fun. Jeska got back to the hold, bleeding
profusely, but no one but her father and sisters believed her. Her mother was
convinced that Jeska had told the renegades to take the boys in order to save
her own life. Devastated, Jeska left the hold, heading for the one place that
she knew she would be safe-- Quasar Weyr. When she was 17, Jeska Impressed
Golden Semirath, the first queen the then-senior queen had produced in a long
time. Three years later, Semirath, now the only gold in the weyr, flew in her
first mating flight, this time for the Weyrleadership. She was caught by Rykeith,
R'fael's bronze giant of a dragon, and R'fael became Weyrleader.
Personality:
sarcastic, but not mean, Jeska has a smile for
everyone. Extremely empathetic, she can calm any flit, feline, canine, or other
animal down no matter how upset or angry it is. Only in possession of 3 flits herself,
she wants a couple more, hopefully ones to round out her rainbow of colors...
Humorous and quick, she often stuns people with her quick tongue
