Other Features: She has a scar on her left arm from her elbow to halfway to her shoulder on the back of her arm from an accident with a stampede of heard beasts. She tends to tan easily and the scar stays a pure white when she is tan. Has a little cute upturned nose, not many freckles, and a cute little mole on her right cheek. Not heavy of build. Very feminine.

History: Jem grew up without any parents, she was mysteriously discovered on the steps of Fort Hold. Jem was named for her bright green eyes because they resembled bright green emeralds. She was raised as the daughter of a Master of sign language whose wife could not have children and who was deaf. Jem grew up knowing sign language and soon she was apprenticed under her father. She became very good at the art of speaking with her hands and moved on to mastery very quickly at the age of 18. She spent one year teaching others the art of speaking with their hands in Ruatha Hold. When she was 19 years old surprisingly she was searched by Benden Weyr, where she was the fifth to be chosen by a lovely medium-sized purple dragon named Loventh. She helped teach others at Benden the art of sign language so they could communicate to the deaf. Now, four years later, she is invited to transfer to Quasar Weyr to live, and maybe teach.

Pets: One purple flit named Penny, she is sweet and loves to cuddle, Loventh is almost never seen without Penny.
