Other Features: Deten's skin tone is pretty light, and he has a small scar right on his hairline. He's generally thought of as very handsome.
History: Deten came from a small hold where both of his parents were dolphineers. He therefore spent much of his childhood around dolphins and knows much about them. His childhood was rather sheltered; he never interacted much with anyone beyond his immediate
family (his mother, father, and sister). Both of his parents were very loving and sought to instill their children with good morals.
Deten and his sister got along surprisingly well for siblings. They both loved firelizards and spent much of their time hunting for flitter nests. When he was 15 turns old, Deten was searched to come for a flamewher hatching at Quasar Weyr.
He Impressed bronze Poledrenth at the hatching, and now lives at Quasar as a weyrling along with his sister, who also Impressed.
Personality: Deten is pretty shy, especially around those of the opposite sex, which is a problem since girls tend to goggle at him. He rarely talks about himself. When he gets beyond his shyness, Deten can be good leader and friend�he is very intelligent and would never betray someone's trust. He is not very understanding of evil in the world and is often somewhat confused by it. He rarely ever gets angry, but if he does, he forgives very slowly. He is very protective of his sister.

Personality: Bait is a complete goofball, constantly flying into things and people. Deten personally believes that the poor flitter has eyesight problems. Because of his lack of flying skills, Bait usually remains on Deten's shoulder. He is incredibly stupid and is
often taken care of by Arrani.
Name: Ria
Color: Peach
Personality: Ria is very prissy and will not deign to associate with Bait at all (or many other flitters for that matter, except for Arrani, who she respects so much, due to a fight between them early in life, that she does not think herself worthy of the silver's company). She is very possessive of Deten.
Name: Drenn
Color: Red
Personality: Drenn is very bossy, constantly ordering Ria and Bait around. Bait usually obeys him immediately, but Ria usually just ignores him. At times, when Ria decides to condescend to Bait's level, the other two gang up against Drenn.
Name: Arrani
Color: Silver
Personality: Arrani is Deten's favorite flitter and is also the smartest. She's very sensible for a firelizard, understanding much of her two-legged companions thoughts and intentions. At times she must help Deten order Ria, Drenn, and Bait around or explain Deten's commands to them, but usually she just lets them do their thing. The other three respect her and always obey her when she asks them to do something. Like Ria, she can at times be possessive of Deten.

Flamewher Personality: Poledrenth is very outgoing�the opposite of his ranger�and not at all ashamed to babble on about all of Deten's personal matters. He can be very insightful for a flamewher and has a better-than-average memory. He does not get along well with
Deten's flitters.
