| Description: A huge edhel at 8� 6�, Kelenaro�s physique combines both strength and grace. Long sable hair parted down the middle reaches to his knees in the back, the long locks pulled behind his ears with combs of silver, diamond and star sapphire. His former bangs now reach his ribcage, each half about four inches wide. From deepset sockets, burning gray eyes with a hint of blue and crimson flame look keenly upon the world�steel gray in repose, dark iron in despair or wrath, blazing silver in excitement or joy�and they seem to shine like twin stars with a surreal light. Telperion�s argent light is most obvious, but there is a faint hint of Laurelin�s golden rays as well�and deep within the sable pupils glows the bloody fire of one who has taken the Oath of Feanor. High, arched cheekbones curve alongside a long, narrow, aquiline nose ending in only slightly flared nostrils. Long, tapering jaws and a slightly pointed chin add strength and nobility to this distinguished coutenence. The warrior has only nine fingers; the middle finger of the left hand is missing, an deep u-shaped gap with the bottom of the curve just below fhe first knuckle-joint. Kelenaro�s complexion is fair even for an Elf, just a shade or so darker than marble-white. The rest of him is powerfully muscled, the shoulders and chest broad, the limbs well-formed. However, the effect is like that of a panther---noble. lithe strength without appearing ridiculous or muscle-bound; a buck deer as opposed to an thick-limbed, ponderous ox. Arms and legs end in surprisingly long, slender fingers and toes. His movements are feline; purposeful with majestic, restrained power. Kelenaro prefers to wear Maglor�s colours, usually wearing a midnight-blue v-necked overtunic, a silver undertunic, and black slacks (short or long, depending on the weather), and sturdy boots of black leather. A sapphire cloak is clasped over his right shoulder with a jeweled silver brooch in the form of a harp with a pair of crossed swords behind it, to denote his dual occupation as both bard and Protector of Himring. A silver chain belt with a jeweled buckle in the form of an 8-rayed star spans his waist and his great curved sword, Calagurth, hangs from a beltsling at his left hip. Kelenaro wears bejeweled armbands of black-enameled silver about each upper arm, with an intricate curving scrollwork design mingled with sapphires, onyx, and rubies. On the middle finger of his right hand rests two gleaming rings, one (his betrothal band), a delicate seven-strand braid of silver, studded with small pieces of obsidian and ruby, with three larger Noldo-gems shining on the top of the band. The second (his wedding ring) is of twisted mithril and gold; two serpents of mithril and gold, each one devouring its own tail, the curve of the serpents� bodies matching the braid of his betrothal band. An assortment of other rings at times adorn his fingers, but the thumbs are always free. Crowning his sable locks, he wears a circlet of silver with rubies set along it, save at the ends where sapphires are set.. |
