The pain had finally stopped, and I felt myself in a bed. I opened my eyes to see myself in a Lantern World type room. I gasped. �Could it be? Am I really back at home? � I looked to out the door to see if anyone was there. I finally saw Arinu and Anh come in the room with a tray.

�Finally up, sleepy head? Are you feeling like your normal self yet?� Anh asked me, setting the tray down on a table next to the bed. I nodded,

�Yes, I feel much better. The pain has stopped.� I looked around. �Where is everyone?� I asked.

�Don�t worry; they�ll be here soon,� said Arinu. �Now, you need to fill your belly with something. I haven�t seen you eat yet. I don�t even think you ate yesterday.� She handed me a bowl of soup.

Me taking over again�

Junior came over to Chace and Fi�s where everyone was meeting. He saw Chace waiting for an answer from him. �Don�t worry, Chace, Milli is just fine. We were right all along. The Lantern world was her cure, for now anyway.� Chace sighed in relief,

�Well, let�s go then ^_^!� Junior teleported everyone in one time, right into Anh and Arinu�s house.

�Wow, we�re actually here. We�re back home!� said Linali.

�The Lantern World. Oh I never want to leave it again,� Said Keiko. Mitsue looked outside the window.

�Wow the air smells so fresh, but I thought you said that The Lantern World doesn�t look beautiful any more? It looks pretty nice to me,� he said.

�The war is no where near the homes, thank goodness for that. I only hope that Arinu and Anh�s parents are okay,� said Junior. �Their mother asked the king to find safe-keeping for her daughters, so the King asked Grand Master, Halbuna to find a suitable person to protect them. I was summoned here and put a shield spell on, so no powers can harm them.� Linali walked over to Junior and stared straight at him in the eyes. Junior sweat-dropped, �Uh, what?� Linali smiled,

�So it�s true then. You really do love Anh don�t you?�

�Wha?! Um�� Junior blushed. �Well��he trailed off. Linali giggled,

�Oh that is so sweet Junior ^_^�

�But didn�t Arinu say something about that: He couldn�t marry Anh no matter what since he is the Junior Master?� Fi asked.

�It is true, but there is one way�I�ve talked to Anh about it, but she won�t let me,� said Junior.

�Well it can�t be that bad,� said Chace, �I mean it�s not like you�re giving up your title or anything right?� Junior turned to Chace,

�That�s exactly what it is,� he said. �I have three years to figure it out, but for now let�s think about our main priority.� Everyone nodded.

Back to Milli�s Point Of View�

I finished all the food and felt all warm inside. �Can we go downstairs now? I sense everyone down there.� I asked. Arinu and Anh agreed, so we all headed down. I saw everyone there standing silent until Arinu, Anh, and I came into view. I smiled, �Hi everyone! It seems I�m back to normal now.�

�That�s great to hear, Milli,� said Keiko. I went over to Chace,

�Now I really am as healthy as a horse, Chace ^_^� Chace laughed and stood up to give me a hug.

�You gave us all a fright last night, Milli.�

�I know. I�m sorry, but that time I couldn�t control the pain. I could barely breath back there,� I said, but gave him a smile. Arinu came over to us,

�I�m not going to lie to you, Chace. Milli did suffer a minor heart attack, but for a witch it shouldn�t be that bad handle for a normal heart disease. But since this was spell-cast, it harmed her a bit and may have possibly shortened her life a little bit more,� she said. Chace looked at me in the eye.

�Milli do you have any clue of how long you�re going to live?� he asked. I saw fear in his eyes. �Should I tell them? Are they ready for that yet? It�s best I save that for later- I thought to myself.

�Umm� No, I don�t, Chace.�

�Well, I think it�s best we start to head out now. It�s early, so we should be able to get far before dark,� said Chace.

�You�re probably right,� said Anh.

�Looks like we�re all ready to go,� said Mitsue. We headed out the door, past the shield that Junior had cast upon the Anh and Arinu�s land. Now, there was no stopping the danger that wanted to harm us.

�Junior, do you have any clue where the tablets are located?� I asked.

�I know that there is one in the Palace, but we�ll have no luck there,� said Junior.

�Why not?� Fi asked.

�The Palace floats all over the Lantern World. Right now we haven�t the time to go in search of it. We�ll just have to hope that it comes to us somehow. I do know the location of one though, and once we find that one, it will tell us where another one is.� We headed into the woods, following Junior who was leading the way. We saw a bunch of cute creatures on the way. The forest seemed so wonderful. As it got darker, the forest didn�t seem so wonderful. It began to get a little spooky.

Ok me talk again�

Anh came up to Junior and squeezed his arm tight. �Junior, you think we can stop yet?� she asked. Junior smiled even though barely anyone could see.

�Just a little longer until I find a suitable place to camp,� he said to her. Arinu was clinging on to Fi for her dear life and was shaking.

�Are you scared, Arinu?� he asked.

�Now why would you think of a silly thing like that?� Arinu asked. �I�m just making sure you�re not scared. That�s all.�

�Right *sarcastic*� said Fi. Keiko and Linali had no trouble expressing their fears. Both of them were clinging on to one of Mitsue�s arms.

�I�m starting to miss Earth,� said Keiko.

�Me too,� said Linali.

�Girls, there�s nothing to be afraid of. The forest is just like you saw in the day time, only it�s night time,� said Mitsue.

�I really don�t see anything scary about this place,� said Milli. She then felt something slimy touch her neck. �Gaaaah!� She ran over to Chace and clung onto his harm with anime tears.

�Not you too, Milli,� said Chace. �I thought you at least weren�t afraid of the dark.�

�But something slimy touched me,� she said, still with anime tears.

�Well, we�re in luck. I found us a campsite,� said Junior.

Back to Milli�s Point of View�

After we all set up camp, we sat down by the fire. Though the fire was warm, it was still pretty cold, but at least it was warmer now. I almost fell asleep in an awkward place again, but Chace shook me, �Milli, you�re sleepy. Why don�t you go in the tent?� I shook my head,

�I�m too scared to go alone.� I then saw imaginary light bulbs pop on top of Keiko�s and Linali�s head. >p>�Why don�t you go with her, Chace?!� they both said. They pulled both me and Chace and pushed us into the tent, giving us a lighted lantern (an actual lantern this time).

�I wish they would get a grip already,� I said with a sweat-dropped.

�Milli, I have one question,� said Chace.

�Yes? What is it?� I asked.

�Well, Junior said something earlier. He said he has three years to decide whether to give up his title or not so he can marry Anh. What did he mean by three years?�

�Oh, that. You see, when a girl reaches the age of eighteen, she can no longer be a bachelorette. She must be engaged or the King himself chooses a bride for her. There�s a ceremony held every year. A girl can get engaged as early as the age of fourteen, they can also attend the ceremony willingly. But once they�re eighteen, the time is up, and they must go to the ceremony.�

�Oh, so that�s why he seems so stressed about it.� I yawned,

�Yes, that is why.� I felt myself drifting off to sleep. Chace took me into his arms and rocked me to sleep.

�You are sleepy, Milli. Rest now.�

Early around 3:00 AM�M

I opened my eyes and couldn�t fall back asleep. I slowly got out of Chace�s arms and went out of the tent, trying not to step on anyone else. I took a blanket and the lantern with me. I lit the fire and sat there. Suddenly I heard a stick crack and turned around. �Junior, what are you doing up in the middle of the night?�

�I can ask you the same thing,� said Junior, sitting down next to me.

�It seems we both couldn�t sleep. What is troubling your mind?� I asked him.

�I�m seventeen, Milli, probably the youngest ever to become a Junior Master. I do want to keep my title, but�� he trailed off.

�I know. It must be hard not knowing what to do or what is right. If I was in your shoes I�d just kill myself.�

���.� I sweat-dropped and waved my hands in front of me.

�Not that I�m saying you should kill yourself. That�s just what I would do.�

�Heh, I know what you mean. But why are you out here?�

�Oh come on, Junior, we both know why I�m out here.�

�You really should stop keeping these secrets from everyone, Milli. It�s only going to hurt you more. Why don�t you just tell them how long you have to live.�

�That�s easy for you to say. You�re not the one dying over here.�

�You don�t seem to scared about death, Milli.�

�I am very afraid, but��I finally trailed off.

�You�re trying your hardest to stay alive for Chace and Fi�s sake aren�t you?�

�You�re saying that as though I�m near death already, Junior.�

�Heh, well, we should get at least a little sleep, Milli.� I nodded and we both went to bed.

The Next Morning�

I slept peacefully the rest of the night, then I felt myself being shaken lightly. �Milli, it�s morning,� said the voice of Chace. My eyes went open.

�*Yawn* Good morning ^_^� I said. I still felt a little tired, but I got up anyway.

�You still tired?� Chace asked with worry in his voice. I finally realized why he sounded so worried.

�Uh, yeah. But it�s because I woke up in the middle of the night and went outside for a little bit. It�s not because I�m hurting. ^_^*� I said to him.

�Okay,� said Chace. I then saw Anh shaking Junior.

�Get up already, Sleepy Head,� she said. Junior opened his eyes.

�Oh, did I sleep late?� he asked.

�No worries, it�s morning still,� I said.

�Everyone�s already outside. Why are you two so tired?� Anh asked suspiciously. Junior and I could see where this was leading to.

�Oh, well, you see, Milli and I couldn�t fall asleep, so we decided to have a conversation until we felt tired,� Junior explained.

�Oh, really then what�d you two talk about?� Chace asked.

�^_^* Things, personal things, um��I trailed off. I decided to communicate with Junior telepathically, even though witches and wizards could only do that for a short period of time. �Junior, you can help out you know! � I said to him.

�We just talked about our personal lives that�s all,� Junior said.

I fell down. �T_T+ Like that�s gonna do any good!- I said to myself. Chace and Anh gave us an evil glare and went outside. We both sweat-dropped. �Well, that didn�t go good,� said Junior. I gave him a clonk on the head.

�Our personal lives was the best you could think of?!� I exclaimed. �Now we have them thinking weird, perverted stuff in their minds!�

"They�ll forget,� he paused, �I hope.� I fell down once more. Junior and I came out of the tent. Keiko and Linali came up to us and talked in unison, �We�re confused. WHO LIKES WHO HERE?!� the both asked with big heads hovering over us.

�Oh my goddess, you people are so immature you know that? Two people of the opposite sex have one conversation alone, and you all think those weird thoughts in your minds,� I said.

�And some of you do just that and also get jealous,� said Junior. We both stared at Anh and Chace.

�Honestly, you two need to have a little more faith in us,� I said. After we packed up the camped, we started to head further into the woods. I felt a tap on my shoulder. It was Chace. �Yes?� I asked.

�Are you still mad at me?� he asked. I blushed.

�Isn�t that supposed to be my question?� Chace looked at me in the eyes,

�I thought you were the one mad?�

�No you were,� I said.

�Are you sure you weren�t?� he asked. Fi and Mitsue finally couldn�t stand our confusion and pushed us together.

�You two are the weirdest couple on the planet you know that?� Mitsue stated.

�Just kiss and make up already,� said Fi. The pushed us together one more time.

�Uh�� I trailed off. I looked at Chace, �Do you mind?� Chace gulped.

�Well if you don�t mind. I don�t mind,� he said. Chace and I both closed our eyes until I heard a scream. I quickly opened my eyes.

�What was that?!� I exclaimed.

�So, you heard as well, Milli?� Linali asked. She had brought out her real ears in the morning, deciding that it would be more useful.

�I heard it too!� exclaimed Arinu who had the same type of ears as me.

�What was it?� Junior asked.

�We heard a scream,� said Arinu, Linali, and I. Chace whistled for Carpet then hopped on. He then lifted me as if I was a feather and sat me onto Carpet.

�Time to go!� he said. Carpet raced through the trees, dodging every single one that stood in the way.

�Stop, Carpet!� I said. Carpet stopped in a dead instant.

�What is it?� Chace asked. I turned my head to the right.

�Over there,� I said. �That�s where the scream came from.� Chace hopped off of Carpet and went over to an open area in the forest. I jumped off and followed him. We both then heard a voice,

�Give that back you little thief! I found that apple fair and square give it back!� It was a girl with short, black, curly hair. She was wearing a purple dress. It looked really fancy. She was chasing a little fairy. �Kohana, give it back!� She demanded. The little fairy kept flying until it bumped into Chace. He grabbed it by the wings and handed it forward.

�I believe this belongs to you, miss,� he said. The girl took the fairy known as Kohana and put it in her bag, along with the apple.

�Thank you for saving my apple! You must be one of the knights in search of the missing princess. Please allow me to give you a token of my gratitude,� she said. She took her face closer and closer to Chace�s face.

�Umm�� Chace trailed off. I felt myself boiling up at the site. She was about an inch away from him until I finally said,

�Hold it right there!� I stepped forward.

�Oh, and you are?� she inquired.

�Milli Saoshima,� I said. I saw stars suddenly form in her eyes.

�Y-Y-Y-Y-You�re her! The legendary Milli Saoshima; Strongest witch in the Lantern World!� She exclaimed, taking my hand and shaking it.

�Yeah, well, not really anymore, but-�

�It really is an honor to meet you. I�m Himemi,� she said.

�Oh, hello,� I said. Then I thought �Wait a minute!- � Your highness! What are you doing in the Lantern forest?!�

"Highness?� Chace asked.

�She�s princess Himemi of the Lantern World,� I stated. Himemi smirked.

�Yes, Saoshima I am the princess. I went over into the forest, to play with Kohana, but I got tired and took a nap. When I awoke, the palace must have already floated away. -She lives in the palace. - I thought. � Wait a tablet is in the palace!- An idea had struck my mind.

�Hey, princess, you can find the palace with us. It turns out that we�ll be heading there soon,� I said.

�Really?! Wow thank you!� she said.

�Really, but I have a favor to ask of you,� I said.

Ok me take over a lil bit again�

�Where have those two gone to?� Arinu asked.

�They went heading towards the sound,� said Linali, keeping her ears alert. Keiko popped her antennae out.

�I didn�t feel any strong vibrations,� she said. �Maybe they just wanted to be alone together ~_^� Anh and Junior flew up on their brooms while Fi and Mitsue stayed on the ground with Keiko, Linali, and Arinu.

�Junior, I have an idea,� said Anh. �Let�s head back down towards the others okay?� They flew down and landed right in front of everyone else. �Linali do a visual spell.�

�Now, why didn�t I think of that?� Arinu asked, scratching her head. Linali nodded and started to say the words for the spell," I call upon the shrine of sight! Grant me the visual of whom I seek! Milli Saoshima!" The screen shows Milli and Chace talking to the Princess.

�Who in the Lantern World is that?� Keiko asked.

�That�s the Princess Himemi,� said Junior, �But what is she doing out of the palace?�

�Wow, she�s hot!� said Mitsue. Linali and Keiko each took a large rock and slammed it on his head. �Ouch, I was just kidding!� Everyone looked on the screen to see what Milli, Chace, and Himemi were talking about.

�So let me get this straight� You promise to take me back to the palace, but I have to give you the sacred tablet that lies within it?� Himemi asked. Milli nodded. �Are you crazy! I�ll get in so much trouble!� Himemi exclaimed.

�Don�t think of it as stealing,� said Chace, �Think of it as helping to save the Lantern World.� Himemi took both of Chace�s hands.

�Oh, Sir knight! You really think so?� she asked snuggling up close to him.

�Umm, princess, I�m no�� said Chace, trying to brush her off. She just cuddled up closer and closer to him, until she finally tried to kiss him once more. Milli felt myself once again boiling up.

�AGH! Stop that!!� she shouted, elbowing Chace�s face. A red marked had formed on his face.

�Ouch T_T,� he said.

�Oh, I�m sorry Chace! I didn�t mean to, honestly! I just don�t know what came over me,� she said.

�I honestly don�t blame her,� said Anh. �I would have done the same thing.�

�You would really elbow me in the face?!� Junior asked.

�Well, something a little less violent.� Linali finally let go of the spell since she couldn�t hold it for much longer.

�Let�s go to them now,� she said. Everyone nodded and got on their brooms.

Back to Milli�s point of view�

�You sure get jealous easily, Saoshima,� said Himemi.

�Grr�� I growled, trying to restrain myself. �Listen, you! Leave Chace alone!� Himemi giggled.

�Though your are the strongest in the Lantern World, I am the most royal. I outrank you, Saoshima! And you know the higher rank gets first choice. You know who I chose? This noble knight of the Lantern World,� she said. Steam had almost spouted out of my ears.

�Why, you! He�s not a knight of the Lantern World! In fact he�s not even of the Lantern World! Now get your hands off him this instant!� I shouted. I then felt a hand on my shoulder,

�M�lady, please stay calm,� said Junior.

�Uuuu, when did all you g-,� I said until I was interrupted.

�Mr. Junior!� said Himemi, running and clinging onto his shirt. �Are you traveling with Saoshima as well?�

�Why, yes, your highness,� said Junior.

�You have grown way more handsome, Mr. Junior,� said Himemi, leaning towards his cheek. Anh then elbowed Junior in the face, and I pulled Himemi back by the hair. �I guess that does have its uses,� said Anh.

�What the hell is your problem?!� I exclaimed to her. �Is kissing the only skill you have?!�

�*_* I thought you weren�t going to elbow me?,� Junior mumbled. Before any arguing could be done, I felt something powerful coming our way. I gasped.

�Milli what is it?� Keiko asked.

�Something is coming,� I said.

I�m takin over for just one sentence�

�Time to attack! If I can�t hurt Silver Lantern then I�ll just aim for the thing he holds most dearly, Anh Matsumoto,� said the voice of Magenta Lantern.

Ok Milli� point of view again�

The force came faster and stronger, and I knew exactly what it was.

�~Shield Force!~� I yelled. I brought the shield up just in time before the first sharp blade of a flower petal. But since I was the only one holding up a shield to protect everyone, I was draining my energy quickly and my act was soon to be over. Junior finally pitched in and held up the shield, but he was a second too late. It was over. I let go of the shield and started to breathe heavily once more like I did on Earth. Chace came over beside me.

�Milli, what�s wrong?� he asked.

�Nothing, I�m fine,� I said.

�Oh, Purple Lantern, there�s no need to lie now is there?� said the voice of Tzu-Chi.

�Tzu-Chi! You planned this the whole time!� I said, losing the strength in my arms, falling towards the ground. Chace grabbed me and leaned me on his chest.

�What does she mean, Milli?!� He was looking at me dead serious in the eyes. His eyes scared me so much that I couldn�t answer.

��.�

�Milli! Answer me!� I finally gave in,

�Th-The truth is I�m not healthier. I�m really getting worse, but my power level has risen ever since I got her, so I put cast a spell on myself to make me stand the pain. It hasn�t helped much, but I just didn�t like to worry you anymore.� Chace made his own shield and held me close to protect the both of us.

�You shouldn�t have done that for me,� he said.

�Yes, I should have! I hate people worrying over me! It�s just stupid! I can take care of myself just as good as anyone else! I just need a chance to�.�I trailed off.

�Time to what?�

�I would give anything, Chace. Anything just to live a normal life again. I want to regain my title and be the one that�s always doing the looking out for people and protecting them. But I can�t do that anymore. I just have to sit and watch as everyone worries over me. Now I�m not good for anything. I�m just a burden that you all have to lug on your backs.� Chace gave me a little squeeze and said,

�Now, where do you get that silly idea? I�m sorry that I�m always worrying about you, but you and Fi are all I have left. I just don�t want to lose you.�

Me take over again�

�Anh, stay behind me!� said Junior, holding up the shield. Arinu and Fi, in their Lantern Forms were protecting the others from the petal blades. Magenta gave an evil laugh.

�Hah, so you do know what I�m after then, Junior. You were always so clever.�

�Is this part of your sick plan of revenge?! Leave Anh out of this! It has nothing to do with her. This is between you and me, Tzu-Chi,� Junior slipped out. Anh looked curious.

�Revenge? Between you and her? Whatever did you do to her?� she asked.

�Tsk, Tsk, Tsk. You haven�t told her? What a naughty boy you are, Junior, keeping such a huge secret from the one you love. You should be ashamed of yourself. Fine, I shall say then,� said Tzu-Chi. Anh got ready to listen�.
