Marianne graduated from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music in 2002, where she studied with Caroline Henberst. Whilst studying at the Conservatorium, she was a member of the Sydney Sinfonia, the training orchestra of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra where her mentor was Roger Benedict. Marianne has also been a member of the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra, Sydney Conservatorium Chamber Orchestra, and the Australian Youth Orchestra with whom she has toured America, Australia, China, South Africa, Europe and the U.K.
She has recently been awarded a Postgraduate Diploma with Merit from the RNCM and will continue to study with Predrag Katanic for another year.
