Helen was awarded an academic scholarship to study at the University of Manchester where she was a violin pupil of Ronald Birks. She led the University's Symphony, Sinfonietta and String Orchestras and also performed Bach's Concerto for violin and oboe with the String Orchestra.
Having graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in 2002, Helen has just completed a two-year Postgraduate Diploma Course at the Royal Northern College of Music, graduating with a Merit classification. Helen is currently taught by Benedict Holland.
