• It must be a Personal Home Page. No commercial sites, please.
• If it's just a bunch of links, don't bother applying. I want to see some interesting content, imagination, and creativity, in your pages.
• Your page should be easy to navigate. Not cluttered! A theme usually works well.
• You'll loose points with me if you have huge construction signs, broken links or missing graphics. Every site is constantly in a state of change. No need really to have all those signs flashing at you.
• Absolutely *NO* sites with Adult content. I have a family safe site here. Your link will be placed into the winners hall of fame and we would not want children accidently dropping in. (RIGHT!)
• I really dislike frames, however if you do them right, I don't mind. Hope that I do not get stuck in one of your frames.(Hint!)
• Same with JavaScript. If you're going to have it, make sure it works. Getting stuck in frames is pretty fustrating, but having my browser crash because of your bad JavaScript is not a good indicator that you will win one of our awards.
• Your page should be in English, or have an English option available. I can't speak any other language unfortunately, and I don't feel right awarding a page that I have no clue what it's trying to say.
• I like graphics on a page, but I have my limits. If your page takes 2-3 minutes to load or longer, then maybe you should break the page into two or three pages. That way, the pages load quicker and it would appear that you have more content. (Hint!)
• You must have a E-MAIL address! (Duh!)
• If you are linking to other people's sites for graphics DO NOT APPLY. I will check for the graphics source. I dislike the theft of bandwidth, it should be a crime. It slows everything down! If you don't have enough room on your server for your own graphics, then maybe you should get your own FREE web page from GEOCITES!
• I could don't care if you sign my guest book or not! You are here to apply for an award, so lets get on with it!!!!
• If you win the award I will send it to you or you can right click and save from this site. Just don't link back to my graphics. This will be a violation of our award agreement and you will default from the use of the award on your site. Your name and site info will be placed into the I MESSED UP list for all to see.. (Get the Hint!!)
