Wildguard: "Frank Hits!"

(Front cover. Four is standing opposite a very phoney, flashy Hollywood agent type. He has a short blonde cheap-looking toupee on his balding head. He is attired in a flashy suit and tie. Four is in her uniform. She has her hand over her face in a mixture of frustration, disgust, and anger.)

Frank (man): Hey, trust me babe! I'm just what you need for the show!

Four: God no . . . anyone but you . . .

Caption (N): Hollywood comes calling!!

(Page 1, panel 1. Wildguard headquarters, specifically the board meeting room. Four is there in her uniform, having just sat down in a chair.)

Caption (N): Being a leader of a superhero team is never easy, especially when it's a team under the constant scrutiny of a camera. Case in point: Wildguard.

Four: Thank God that's over...

Voice (from off panel): But another big fight is just beginning.

(Panel 2. Enter Dandelion and Cordelia Harmon. She is in a pleasant woman's business suit, and Dandelion is in a suit and tie.)

Four: What are you talking about?

Cordelia: The network has decided to send some guy to give the show a makeover. Something about ratings not being where they should be.

(Panel 3. Four looks at Cordelia with a mixture of bewilderment, worry, and terror.)

Four: Is this going to be a good or bad thing?

Dandelion: Very bad. It's Frank Hollywood.

(Panel 4. Four now starts looking worried.)

Four: Frank Hollywood?

Cordelia: He's some TV mogul that had some hits in the mid 90's. Unfortunately, he lost his touch around the turn of the millennium.

Dandelion: Remember the debacle of Who Wants an older Rich Man?�

(Panel 5. Now Four has a look of sheer terror on her face.)

Four: Erm... no. However... I think that might be a good thing in this case.

Cordelia: The ratings were so low that the actual viewers after 5 minutes were in the single digits.

Dandelion: The network gave him cart blanche to redo anything he thought was wrong.

(Panel 6. Four covers her face with her hand in frustration.)

Four: Let's hope we can minimize the damage he'll do...

Cordelia: Too late. He started about an hour ago.

(Panel 7. Show Cordelia by herself, in a head shot.)

Caption (N):�Cordelia Harmon

Cordelia: This is like watching two trains rushing towards each other. You know there's going to be a terrible accident, but you're powerless to stop it.

(Panel 8. Show Four by herself, in a head shot.)

Caption (N): Four

Four: I think the network has abandoned us! This guy sounds like a total disaster and absolutely horrible for the show! I can't believe they would do this to me!

(Page 2, panel 1. In the main living room of Wildguard, we see Frank Hollywood, the guy from the cover. Standing opposite him is Lily Hammer. She is attired in her uniform, and is holding up a small bikini top on a coat hanger.)

Caption (N): "I think you're not going to enjoy his taste in women's clothing...."

Lily: You hönestly dön't expect me to whur this!

Frank: Fact of life, Lily. Sex sells, and we've got to sell you to get those ratings up, up up!

(Panel 2. Enter Red Rover, wearing his uniform. He is holding up a pair of small pants on a clothes hangar.)

Red: Hey! Who took all the shirts out of my wardrobe!?

Lily: This feül took my öutfits and replaced them with bikinis!

Frank: Come on, guys. We're in a ratings war. Sweeps is coming up next week, we've got to hustle, hustle, hustle!

(Panel 3. Enter Four. Red Rover and Lily Hammer approach her, very angry.)

Lily: Just leuk at this! I am a wöman, nöt somë sex töy!

Red: This is absolutely not acceptable. Four, what is going on here?!

Four: I just found out about it myself. It seems the network sent Frank here to perk up the ratings.

(Panel 4. Frank gives a phoney smile.)

Frank: Trust me, guys. I had several hit shows in the 90's!

Red: What have you done lately?

(Panel 5. Frank ducks the question, deciding to concentrate on what he thinks needs to be done.)

Frank: Well, Red Rover - and you know, that name is just bland. It reminds me of my neighbor's pet schnauzer.

Red: Hey, I like being called Red Rover!

(Panel 6. Frank raises a finger at Red Rover. Red is getting angry, and shows it.)

Frank: Well, your name now is Pit Bull - you need a name that exudes manliness!

Red: I think I'll stay being Red Rover, thank you.

(Panel 7. Show Red Rover by himself, in a head shot.)

Caption (N): Red Rover - Erm. Pit Bull

Red Rover: I can't believe they'd try to change my name! What's so wrong with Red Rover? Pit bull makes me sound like some psychotic bully. I am a hero, not some guy out to kill everyone.

(Page 3, panel 1. Return to the previous scene. Frank lowers his finger.)

Frank: The decision isn't yours. The network gave me carte blanche!

Lily (to Four): Can we dö anything to stöp him?

Four: Well... I'll have to work on it. You're going to have to put up with him for now.

(Panel 2. Enter Snapback. He looks extremely angry.)

Snapback: What's going on here? My clothing has been thrown out!

Frank: Ah, Snapback. We're giving you a makeover here. That mullet went out with communism!

(Panel 3. Snapback looks shocked.)

Snapback: What!? I like my mullet!

Four: Frank, don't you think you're going a little too overboard with this?

Frank: Nonsense! I have just begun to set this show on the right course.

Voice (from off panel): EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

Red Rover: That came from Ignacia's room!

(Panel 4. Ignacia's room. She is looking into a walk-in closet to see all her outfits have been replaced by bikinis and microskirts. Every bikini has the initials FM on them. Four and Red Rover enter. Ignacia is wearing only a towel.)

Four: What's wrong?

Ignacia: Look at this! This is absolutely horrible! I don't want to go around parading around like some bimbo!

(Panel 5. Enter Frank.)

Frank: Ah, good to see you. I see you've found my new uniforms. Your name now is Fire Maiden.

Ignacia: Who are you and what are you talking about?

Four: This is Frank Hollywood, and he's been hired by the network to boost ratings.

(Panel 6. Ignacia gets face-to-face with Frank. She grits her teeth at him.)

Ignacia: Where are my usual clothes?

Frank: They're being auctioned off on E-Bay. We need money for all the changes I've done!

(Page 4, panel 1. Red Rover and Four grab Ignacia to keep her from tearing Frank apart.)

Ignacia: E-Bay!? I will not have my stuff being sold to the highest bidder!!!

Frank: Too late. The bidding's already going on now.

Four: Frank, close those auctions. Even if this somehow works, I will not have anything we still want being sold without our consent.

(Panel 2. Ignacia struggles against Four and Red Rover.)

Ignacia: Let me at him! I want to tear his head off!

Four: Let's not do something you'll regret later. Right now, Cordelia and Dandelion are setting up a video conference with the guy who chose him.

Frank: My decisions may seem a little radical at first, but you'll get used to them.

(Panel 3. Four walks away, and Ignacia calms down.)

Four: I'm going to get those E-bay auctions closed. You two, don't hurt Frank - but don't let him do anything else.

(Panel 4. Four exits.)

Frank: Hey, I know what I'm doing!

Ignacia: What you're doing is putting our ratings into the toilet! Did you even bother getting to know any of us before doing these changes!?

Red: I have to agree with Ignacia on that.

(Panel 5. Show Four in an aside, in a head shot.)

Caption (N):�Four

Four: This guy has totally lost it! I can't believe the network would hire this guy to boost the ratings of this show. It's almost like they want the show to be cancelled.

(Panel 6. Return to previous scene. Frank raises a finger up.)

Frank: She's Fire Maiden now, Pit Bull.

Ignacia: Pit Bull?

Red: I hate that name! It makes me out to be some kind of bully!

(Panel 7. Ignacia folds her arms across her chest.)

Ignacia: At least you didn't get some sexist name like Fire Maiden.

Frank: Come on, trust me on this! I know what the people want!

(Panel 8. We see Ignacia by herself in an aside. Show a head shot of her.)

Caption (N): Ignacia - Erm, Fire Maiden

Ignacia: I couldn't believe this! I didn't want to become some sex object destined to end up in so me men's magazine! There are limits to what I will do for fame. Frank is starting to get on everyone's nerves.

(Page 5, panel 1. Later on, Wildguard, Cordelia, and Dandelion is sitting around a table with Frank. They are all looking at a large videoscreen behind them. On that screen we see an older, balding male in a suit and tie. He also wears glasses. Four, Ignacia, and Lily Hammer are attired in bikinis. Four's bikini has the IV symbol on the chest. Ignacia's has the FM on it.)

Four: With all due respect boss, Frank has made a bunch of changes we found unacceptable. He tried to auction off all my wardrobe on E-bay.

Boss: Well, Frank's ideas may be a bit... unorthodox, but I trust him to boost ratings.

(Panel 2. Lily Hammer gets angry at this.)

Lily: Jüst look at me! I leük like something oüt of some men's sexist fantasy magazïne!

Ignacia: I have to second that thought.

Frank: Come on, it's for sweeps week!

(Panel 3. The boss thinks for a little.)

Boss: Well, you can have the clothing back... but Frank stays for now.

Lily: If he says, I am lëaving! Lily Hämmer is nöt some sex objëct!

(Panel 4. Lily calms down a bit.)

Boss: I never said you were, Lily. Just let Frank work his magic here....

Four: With all due respect, Frank has lost his touch. Do I need to remind you about his last fiasco?

Frank: Well, if those women really would have done what I wanted, things would have turned out much better.

(Panel 5. The boss looks grim-faced at Wildguard.)

Boss: I've hired Frank for a reason. He's going to get those sagging ratings out of the cellar! He stays, end of story.

(Panel 6. The screen goes blank. Frustration is clear on everyone's face except Frank's.)

Cordelia: But boss...

(Page 6, panel 1. Frank is with Lily Hammer. He has a shield in his hands, which is made of metal.)

Caption (N): And so...

Frank: Ah, now we're getting to the one that really needs the biggest makeover. Lily Hammer, you are now the Singing Shield Maiden Valkyrie! Here's your shield. It's made from Kervanium. I've also set you up with an appointment down at Les Snoot salon to dye your hair blonde.

Lily: Åhr yoü out of yoür mind!? There are at least 20 heröines in Servö City alonë named Valkyrie! And änother thing, I will nöt dye my hair!

(Panel 2. Frank continues to press his case, and Lily gets angrier.)

Frank: You're not just the Valkyrie, you're the Singing Shield Maiden Valkyrie! The shield is perfect for you! I have a whole list of songs for you to do here...

Lily: I am nöt a singer! Yoü ahr oüt of your cheap toüpee covered head if yoü think I'm göing to be a singer! And anöther thing, I am nöt giving üp my hammer!

(Panel 3. Lily bunches up her fists. Anger is written all over her.)

Frank: Come on, Singing Shield Maiden Valkyrie! That didn't stop the Spice Girls from becoming famous. We'll just use technology to correct your voice.

Lily: I have häd enoügh of yoü!

(Panel 4. Lily Hammer strikes Frank in the jaw, sending him down.)

SFX: POW!!

(Panel 5. Frank uneasily stands up, nursing his jaw.)

Frank: So does this mean the part in Anything Goes is out? It 50 grand a pop!

(Panel 6. Lily Hammer shakes her fist at Frank.)

Lily: I dön't care höw much yöu pay me! I am nöt döing these things! I yöu suggest öne möre thing in changing me, I wönt höld back!

Frank: Okay...

(Panel 7. Show Lily Hammer by herself, in a head shot.)

Cap (N): Lily Hammer

Lily: That Frank is a tötal idiot! I am nöt a singer, and I am nöt about to put down my hämmer for some shield! If he wants a shield üser, he should loök at Patriot lady!

(Page 7, panel 1. Lily Hammer grabs her hammer, brandishing it at Frank.)

Frank: So maybe some of my ideas take a bit of getting used to. At least let us take a promo shot with the shield.

Lily: That does it!!

(Panel 2. Lily swings with her hammer at Frank. Frank uses the shield to block Lily's shot.)

SFX: CLANG!!!

(Panel 3. Frank is on his back, and Lily stands over him.)

(Page 8, panel 1. Lily Hammer walks off.)

Lily: I am döne pütting up with yöur stüpidity!

Frank: Fine. I've still got five other members to improve.

(Panel 2. Go over to see Four, Ignacia, Cordelia, and Dandelion talking. Four is back in her uniform, and Ignacia is back in her red blouse and miniskirt.)

Ignacia: Teri, I really think that the boss has lost his mind.

Four: I have to agree with you there. Fortunately, we don't have to take all his suggestions.

Cordelia: I have to wonder what the boss was thinking here.

Dandelion: Hmm... maybe Frank has something embarrassing on the big guy.

(Panel 3.)

All ladies: What is it and how can I get in on it?

Dandelion: It was just a suggestion.

(Panel 4. Freezerburn enters, holding up a white shirt that has numerous tears in it.)

Freezerburn: Look at this! Frank wants me to wear this! I don't want something that looks like it was mauled by a pit bull!

Four: We're formulating a plan to get rid of him. Any ideas?

(Panel 5. The group thinks. Freezerburn strokes his chin in contemplation.)

Freezerburn: Maybe if we makes his water too hot in the morning...

Four: No violence, Freezerburn. He's not evil, just misguided.

(Panel 6.)

Ignacia: Well, at least he hasn't tried to change your name.

Four: I'm afraid what he'd try to turn it into.

Freezerburn: Oh, he tried. He wants to call me Mr. Thermy.

(Page 8, panel 1. All look at Freezerburn.)

All but Freezerburn: Mr. Thermy?

Four: Sounds like some TV kid's show host's name.

(Panel 2. Enter the rest of Wildguard. All of them look very angry.)

Lily: If thät idiöt Frank stays för öne möre minute, I am quitting!

Four: Calm down, Lily.

(Panel 3. Lily continues to rant, very angry.)

Lily: He wänts tö make me intö söme singing Valkyrie! I can't sing! He wants me to thröw a shield around! That's sömeone else's gig!

Freezerburn: At least he doesn't call you Mr. Thermy.

(Panel 4. Four tries to salvage the situation.)

Four: Guys, you heard what the boss said. We have to put up with him, no matter how idiotic the ideas he comes up with. It's times like this that this job is really a job.

Freezerburn: There's a difference between making some simple changes and turning this place into a madhouse.

Red Rover: Every idea he's had is absolutely bad! How can one person have so many bad ideas?

(Panel 5. Four grits her teeth at the others.)

Four: Frankly, everyone, I agree with you. But top brass thrusted him at us, so we have to take it. I can't explain this decision, but like you, I have to live with it.

(Panel 6. Show Four by herself, in a head shot.)

Caption (N): Four

Four: I've seen a couple of bad decisions in my time, but this one the boss made is straight out of Dilbert! What's even worse is that he's making me defend someone that's utterly indefensible! I don't know what I'd do if I could get my hands on the big boss.

(Panel 7. Show Snapback by himself, in a head shot.)

Caption (N): Snapback

Snapback: I have to feel sorry for Four at this point. The burden of leadership is really tough on her at times, and this is one of them. I hope the ratings don't suffer so much that we get cancelled.

(Page 9, panel 1. Frank is holding up a travel suit bag, standing opposite the members of Wildguard.)

Caption (N): Two days later...

Frank: All right, so maybe the uniform idea wasn't the best. However, I've come up with something a lot better.

(Panel 2. Frank unzips the travel suit bag.)

Frank: Just wait until you get a load of this.

Four (dripping with sarcasm): I can hardly wait.

(Panel 3. Frank shows the outfit in the travel suit bag. It is a skin tight woman's spandex outfit. It is covered with corporate logos. Among them we see Torgo's Pizza, Pod People records, the Deep 13 logo, and more. The members of Wildguard look uneasily at Frank.)

Frank: We need more corporate sponsorship, and this is a good way to pay off those debts.

Freezerburn: You've got to be kidding me.

(Panel 4. Lily Hammer gets very mad at Frank. She shakes her fist at Frank.)

Lily: Why dön't you jüst ask me tö bend över while yöu're at it? That öutfit screams cörporate whöre!!

Four: I have to say I prefer my current outfit much more.

Frank: Oh, come on! We had a lot of bidding wars to get on these outfits.

Snapback: You mean it'll pay off all those e-bay bidders that you had to pay off for selling our clothing so they wouldn't sue.

(Panel 5. Lily Hammer walks away.)

Lily: I've had enöugh of this! I quit! Yöu can find sömeone else tö do this!

Four: Lily!!

(Panel 6. Lily Hammer exits, and Four follows her.)

Four: Come back, Lily!

Frank: What got into her?

(Panel 7. Show Four by herself, in a head shot.)

Caption (N): Four

Four: I really can't blame Lily for running off, but I wish she would have stuck around a little more. I hope she doesn't go and form some competition here...

(Panel 8. Show Frank by himself, in a head shot.)

Caption (N):�Frank

Frank: Can you believe that? I give these something to improve her image and they don't like it! I think they're scared of real fame. Anyone can see what I'm doing is the right thing!

(Page 10, panel 1. Having had enough, Freezerburn points his finger in Frank's chest.)

Freezerburn: You are the problem, Frank! You come in here, give stupid idea after stupid idea, and expect us to swallow it all!

Frank: Hey, I spent my entire life researching trends and finding the best people to work with me and make ratings go higher. You should thank me for coming onto this show!

(Panel 2. Red Rover gets face-to-face with Frank. Freezerburn backs away.)

Red Rover: Frankly, I should tear your head off for all the stuff you've tried to do!

Ignacia: I've been sorely tempted to do the same.

Frank: This place is good, but it can be much better. That's what I'm here for.

(Panel 3. Snapback folds his arms across his chest.)

Snapback: The show would be a whole lot better without you.

Frank: Come on, Super Stretcher! This place is like a ship full of holes, and I've been sent in to patch them all up!

Ignacia: Super Stretcher? Is there anyone's name you haven't tried to change?

(Panel 5. Four steps forward.)

Four: Well, he hasn't tried to change my name - and he'd better not, if he knows what's good for him.

Frank: But I had a great name for you! Quadraphony! It's hot! It's now!

(Panel 6. Four gets face-to-face with Frank. She stares daggers at him.)

Four: Frank, lay off the changes. Don't make me have to say this again.

Frank: Okay, maybe I'm going to far too fast. I'll slow down for a bit. But you have to admit this place needs changing.

(Panel 7. Show Four by herself, in a head shot.)

Caption (N): Four erm, - Quadraphony

Four: Frank never ceases to amaze me with his cluelessness. I can't believe that someone would be this clueless. This guy is straight out of the pages of Dilbert. I have never seen so many bad suggestions at one time. If he doesn't stop, I fear the team my break apart.

(Page 11, panel 1. Later once again, Frank is standing opposite Freezerburn in the living room. Freezerburn looks angry as Frank talks to him.)

Frank: Well, Mr. Thermy, I hope you've got some more sense than the others do.

Freezerburn: Call me Freezerburn. I will not stand Mr. Thermy.

(Panel 2. Frank holds up a picture of a kitchen with a large stove and a refrigerator.)

Frank: Well, I talked it over with your agent and I got you a gig endorsing some kitchen ware.

Freezerburn: What!? I don't do product endorsements!

(Panel 3. Frank smiles as Freezerburn gets mad.)

Frank: Come on, it'll be fun! You're getting 15 grand a pop!

Freezerburn: I don't care how much money I'm getting. There are some things more important in life than making cheap pitches for products!

(Panel 4. Frank shows a composite ad of Freezerburn standing next to a gas range. The ad reads: "Mr. Thermy says: 'Greathouse Gas ranges are the best next to me!'" Freezerburn is getting angry with this. the ad is enclosed in a frame.)

Frank: Check out this test ad that we did. Isn't it great?

Freezerburn: It's horrible!

(Panel 5. Freezerburn takes the ad away from Frank.)

Freezerburn: I can't believe Lon would do this to me! That's it - he's history!

Frank: Come on, Mr. Thermy, it's a great idea!

(Panel 6. Freezerburn hits Frank in the head with the ad, breaking the ad as it slips around Frank.)

Freezerburn: You are a total idiot!!

SFX: WHAP!

(Page 12, panel 1. Freezerburn walks away from Frank.)

Freezerburn: That does it! I am leaving the team! I will not put up with this stupidity any longer!

(Panel 2. Show Frank by himself, in a head shot.)

Caption (N): Frank

Frank: It was a great idea! Mr. Thermy just doesn't see the potential of using his likeness to sell things. What a waste of a celebrity!

(Panel 3. In the living room, Four, Ignacia, Snapback, and Red Rover are meeting.)

Caption (N): That evening..

Four: Guys, I hate him as much as you do. But the network says we got to take him, so we got to take him.

Ignacia: Teri, he's just too much to take. First he wants me to parade around in a bikini like some slab of cheesecake, then he wants rename me Fire Maiden, and then dress me up in some outfit that is covered in corporate logos! I can't take it anymore!

(Panel 4. Freezerburn enters, carrying a suitcase and holding a sheet of paper in his other hand.)

Four: Freezerburn, you're just in time.

Freezerburn: I quit. Here's my resignation.

(Panel 5. Four is shocked that Freezerburn would quit.)

Four: Not you too!

Freezerburn: Teri, I can't take Frank anymore. He wants me to be some spokesman for kitchen appliances. I don't do endorsements!

Red Rover: Frankly Teri, I'm tempted to join him. either Frank goes - or we all go.

Snapback: I'll second that.

(Panel 6. Show Freezerburn by himself, in a head shot.)

Caption (N): Freezerburn - erm, Mr. Thermy

Freezerburn: I really hated leaving the team, but Frank forced me to. I wonder if Lily Hammer would like to form a team with some of the Wildguard backups?

(Panel 7. Show Ignacia by herself, in a head shot.)

Caption (N): Ignacia - erm, Fire Maiden

Ignacia: I really can't blame Freezerburn for leaving the team. I can't say whether or not I'd leave the team, but Frank definitely has got to go.

(Panel 8. Show Four by herself, in a head shot.)

Caption (N): Four - erm, Quadraphony

Four: Frank has successfully done what hundreds of other evildoers have wanted to do since we first formed. He's successfully torn Wildguard apart. In the space of two weeks he's managed to get two members to quit the team. This is the final straw - we have to get rid of Frank now.

(Page 13, panel 1. Four, Cordelia and Dandelion are talking to the boss again via video phone.)

Caption (N): The next day...

Four: Well boss, you've really done it this time. Lily Hammer and Freezerburn have quit, and the rest of the team is threatening to do the same. I'm sorry, but Frank has to go. Everyone, including me, cannot stand him or his ideas. Either he goes or we all go.

Boss: That's what I planned all along.

(Panel 2. Four is shocked at what she is hearing.)

Four: What?! You brought him here to be a disaster!?

Boss: Terri, what really sells these reality-based TV shows is people fighting. I had to pick someone you wouldn't get along with so that you'd argue and fight with each other. And you know what? It worked. Ratings have never been higher before. In fact, Lily's decking of Frank pulled in a high enough share to win top spot for the week. When Freezerburn did the same and put him in the hospital, we had another top spot for the week.

(Panel 3. Four looks frustrated at her boss.)

Four: None the less, it's tearing the team apart.

Boss: True, that's why he's leaving at the end of this week. Sweeps are over, Teri. We can relax now.

(Panel 4.)

Boss: just leave Lily Hammer and Freezerburn to me. Frank should be finding out right now from the envoy I've sent that he's gotten the sack.

Four: You had better be right, boss.

(Panel 5. Frank enters the room in his wheelchair, clutching a sheet of paper in his hands.)

Frank: I'VE BEEN FIRED!!! WHAT IN THE WORLD WOULD MAKE THEM FIRE ME!?

Boss: Frank, I suppose you want to talk to me.

(Panel 6. Frank turns to see the boss on the screen.)

Frank: Boss! The ratings have never been higher! My changes are working!

Boss: Frank, what's drawing people is you fighting with the team. I have to say I have never seen anyone loose their touch as bad as you have.

(Page 14, panel 1. Frank looks exasperated.)

Frank: I was only hired... to make them argue and fight with me?

Boss: Yes. Frank, it's time you retired. You were the it guy last year. But that was last year. You're now the has been.

(Panel 2. Frank desperately pleads with the boss.)

Frank: But - the ratings - they were up and -

Boss (interrupts): Only because you were constantly arguing and

fighting with the team. It wears old very quickly, Frank. You were brought in for sweeps. Sweeps is over, now you can go home.

(Panel 3. Frank looks at the boss with anger.)

Frank: Has been am I? I'll show you! I can have any show I want! I'll go to work for the competition - and put Wildguard out of business for good!

(Panel 4. Frank stomps off.)

Frank: You haven't heard the last of Frank Hollywood, king of the TV!

Four: Good riddance.

(Panel 5. Later on, Four is at a hotel lobby talking to Freezerburn. The place is a lavish affair, with fancy furniture and a check-in desk in the background.)

Caption (N): And so....

Four: We need you back, Freezerburn. Frank is gone now.

Freezerburn: Teri... well, I don't know... I don't want to end up in the same situation again.

Four: The boss has promised us no more Frank or his kind. He was brought in only to argue and fight with us.

Freezerburn: Then I'm back.

(Page 15, panel 1. The other members of Wildguard are standing opposite Lily Hammer. She has her arms folded across her chest and looks very angry.)

Caption (N): Later still...

Lily: I am nöt coming back! End of störy!

Four: Please, Lily, we need you back. I promise you, no more antics from Frank.

(Panel 2. Lily turns away from Four.)

Lily: I am nöt going back! Sömething like this will happen again!

(Panel 3. Four puts her hand on Lily's hammer shoulder. Lily loses the sour expression on her face.)

Four: Frank's been fired. He was just there to have someone we would argue with all the time. The boss said that this would not happen again. I will make sure it never happens again.

(Panel 4. Lily turns around, and unfolds her arms.)

Lily: All right, I will retürn. But if anything this stüpid happens again, I am lëaving and nöt coming back!

(Panel 5. Everyone gathers around Lily.)

Four: Welcome back, Lily Hammer.

Lily: To be hönest, I kind of missed yöu guys.

(Panel 6. The Wildguard members walk away from the place.)

Four: We're not going to let the network dictate what we're about again.
