Gold Digger: Don't Believe Everything You Read
Summary: Peebri and Peegi find
some Yuri online of Gina and Penny. Believing it to be real, they embark on a
tangled web of trying to cover this up.
"Peebri, didn't mother
warn us not to be using her personal computer?" Peegi said. Peegi is, of
course, the voice of reason that Peebri never listens to.
"Do you know why she
doesn't want that? She wants to keep the good stuff away
from us!" Peebri replied. Her answer only served to make Peegi angry.
"Do you
want mother to punish us again!? We should stop this right now!" Peegi
said. At that moment, the computer pulled up a page. The screen showed a piece
of fanfiction; it was a Yuri story about how Gina Diggers seduced Penny Pincer.
Peebri and
Peegi could only stare wide-eyed at the screen. They were shocked that their
"aunt," a woman that normally seemed too involved with her work would
do this.
"Say it
isn't so..." Peegi said.
"It has
to be real. They wouldn't put it online if it wasn't true." Peebri said.
At that point, Charlotte entered.
"Hey,
what's up?" Charlotte asked. She then saw the story on the screen.
Charlotte was shocked beyond belief.
"No...
This can't be real! Penny would *never* do that to Mr. Ace!" Charlotte
said in her shock.
"Well, it
has to be true. But we can't let them know we know!" Peebri said.
"I can't
accept this! Penny is very committed to Mr. Ace!" Charlotte said. Peegi
then closed the web browser.
"It was
right there, plain as day." Peebri said. Charlotte cried the twin
waterfalls. They all looked very nervous as Gina walked into the room.
"Hey,
what's up?" Gina asked.
"Erm...
Nothing!" Peebri said quickly. Naturally, Gina's face turned into an
expression of anger.
"All
right, what did you do this time?" She asked, expecting that her sister's artificial
creations were up to no good.
"They
weren't doing anything bad." Charlotte said nervously. This made Gina even
more suspicious.
"Why are
you protecting them, Charlotte?" Gina asked.
"I'm not
protecting them!" Charlotte protested in vain.
"Don't
make me have to use *that*." Gina said.
"I'm not
lying!" Charlotte said. Gina then left the room.
"I'll be
right back. Don't go anywhere." Gina said.
"Uh-oh.
We're in big trouble now." Peegi said.
"We have
to run for it!" Peebri said. Just as it started to move, Gina reentered
with a bowl of peanuts. Charlotte's eyes lit up.
"Spill
it, Charlotte." Gina said, running a finger around a peanut.
"Don't do
it, Charlotte!" Peebri said.
"All
right! Peebri found a story about you and Penny online! I'm sorry!"
Charlotte said. She then dove for the peanuts and buried her face in them.
"Dang!"
Peebri said.
"All
right, let's see this story." Gina said in a tone that would turn steam
into ice instantly. Peebri had no choice but to open the web browser and show
the story. Gina then got a
good look at the Yuri story. She was shocked beyond belief; all she could do
was stare wide-eyed at the computer.
"Hommina... Hommina..." Gina mumbled.
"What's wrong with Aunt Gina?" Peebri asked.
"Her OS crashed and needs to be rebooted." Peegi said.
Charlotte continued to pig out on the peanuts as Penny entered.
"What's going on here? Who gave Charlotte a bowl of
peanuts?" Penny said.
"Uh-oh...." Peegi said. "It's all Peebri's
fault!"
"What are you talking about?" Penny asked. Gina
gestured to the screen as Charlotte finished wolfing down the peanuts.
To say Penny
was angry as a raging tornado would be a gross understatement.
"WHAT THE HELL!?!? WHO DID THIS!?!? I'M GONNA SUE
THE ^*%# OFF OF THIS *&@#$#!!!!!"
Penny shouted at the top of her lungs. Charlotte felt partially
relieved, partially frightened. Charlotte knew an
angry Penny was not someone you'd want to mess with. She had never heard Penny
swear up a storm like this much before.
"Oh, I
knew it wasn't true! You would never do this to Mr. Ace!" Charlotte said.
Penny was seeing purple when Gina snapped out of her shock.
"I WANNA SUE THIS MOTHERFUCKER!! YOU WITH ME
GINA!?" Penny asked.
"Yea.
We're gonna get this webmaster to remove this smut at once!" Gina said.
To make a long
story short, Gina e-mailed the webmaster, and about three weeks later, the Gina
Diggers section was taken down, and replaced with Gina's hate-filled e-mail
about how she would get a C&D order if he didn't do this. The author issued
a formal apology and stated he never would have written it had he known this
would have elicited such a reaction. Penny and Gina were happy with this.
