Here it is, the song that makes people all over the world cry over
a woman they didn't even know! Yes, this is the 'English Rose'
version, not the 'Marilyn Monroe' version, but that's strictly
because the mp3 I've got for this file has the english rose lyrics.
I personally don't think that one rich woman getting killed because
she was driving too fast in a car with a drunken driver is the
greatest tragedy ever! I don't cry over people I don't know. Well,
maybe a tear or two for Kurt Cobain... ;)
But all that aside, this is a great song, and easy to play too.
Elton John played it in E so I transcribed it in E, but I think it
sounds better on guitar in the key of C because than you can use
just open position chords instead of barred chords like B and C#m.
So if you wanna play it in C just follow this:

     Any E chord here becomes a C (x32010)
     Any A chord here becomes a F (133211)
     Any B chord here becomes a G (320033)
     Any C#m chord here becomes a Am (x02210)
