What to Expect
Many people don't know what to expect when calling a pet sitter for the first time.

When you call, you may get the answering maching or a family member of mine.  That's fine - if I'm not there, please leave a message and I will get back to you promptly.

During our first conversation, you may feel free to ask questions and voice any concerns you may have.  I will ask you where you live and how many pets you have, if there are any special needs your pets have, etc.  I want to be as well-informed about your pets as possible to ensure the best care available.

If you live in an area that I service (Amherstburg, Harrow, and LaSalle areas) and the dates you need are open, I will set up a no-charge consultation.  I prefer to do this as close to your departure date as possible so your pet(s) will remember me on my first visit.

Upon my arrival, and with your permission, I will offer your pet(s) a get-to-know you treat.  We will then sit down and go over a service agreement which covers the instructions for pet care as well as any additional services you may request (such as watering the garden, bringing in mail).  I will need to receive a key from you at this visit as well as emergency phone numbers in the event of an accident or mis-hap.

For new clients, full payment needs to be made during the consultation or upon the first visit.
