Your birds are fed with 1 teaspoon per bird ABBA Parakeet Seed 1600 mix.
1lb provided to ease their transition into your home and routine.
Just mix half and half with what you feed your birds.
Water is taken through waterer on side of cage style.
Seed and chopped food in seed cups in their cage.
They do take baths regularly.
They are also provided spray millet twice a week.
They also recieve ABBA soak/sprout seed twice a week.
They also have rinsed, chopped kale greens and carrots (organic if at all possible)
daily
with sprinkled Prime (probiotic supplement) or Daily Essentials 3
alternating. Parakeets like a small bit of fruit as well, a small slice of organic apple,
or pear etc...
Not organic contains too many pesticides to be of any benefit.
They need cuttle bone at all times provided for them, and/or oyster shell grit
and/or egg shell EVERYDAY
for developement of their bones, also if they enter a moult.
You can give them chopped egg 4 times a month not too much yolk.
I use 8 in 1 vitamin drops. 1 drop in approx 2 ounces water daily.
They need 8-10 hrs minimum daylight through non leaded windows or a full
spectrum light for this same amount of time daily.
Parakeets love toys, please make sure they are safe and reccomended for your pets.
Parakeets wings should be trimmed regularly.
