Divakara Udupa is the founder of Quality Media.com Private Limited^® (QMPL). QMPL publishes computer and Internet related books.

He  worked for Siemens Information and Communication Network, ISR Global Telecom and IBM in the US in different capacities. He has a wide range of experience as a designer and developer with networking protocols, network management protocols, and TMN.

Mr. Udupa is the author of Network Management Systems Essentials and TMN: Telecommunications Management Network. Both the books were published by McGraw-Hill, USA. His latest book, Personal Computer (PC): What Is a PC, How to Buy and Use One. This book is published by Quality Media.com Private Limited^® (QMPL). He holds two patents and has published many technical articles. He is a member of ACM.

He has a B. Sc (Engg) in Mechanical Engineering from Banaras Hindu University, an M. E. in Mechanical Engineering from Calcutta University and an M. S. in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
