Works Shocks & Shock Covers
Shocks- I first realized I needed new front shocks when I was on the MX track and was bottoming out pretty harshly off of anything higher than two feet of air.  When I got home, I bounced up and down on the front end, and I have virtually no dampening left in those stock shocks.  I was low on funds at the time, so I went with Works cheapest unit for the 300EX.  I ordered my Works Dual Rate A-T Steelers from The QuadShop, and got them in about four weeks, since Works was quite backed up at the time.  When I first received the shocks, I immediatly noticed that they were much more beefy looking than the stock shocks.  They bolted right up without any problems, and I was off for my first test ride around the track.  HOLY COW!  These shocks are like a night and day difference from my old shocks, I could sail off jumps without feeling a thing in the front end, whoops were no longer as much of a threat as they used to be, and small imperfections in the track became obsolete.  I couldn't believe how much faster I was with just this small upgrade.  So far the shocks have held up really well to the abuse I've given them, and since their arn't any adjustments to screw up, they ride perfectaly.  I would definately recommend these shocks to anyone who's on a tight budget but wants performance for the track.

Shock Covers- I ordered my Shockwears the same time my shocks were ordered and from the same place.  When I got the shocks, I put the shockwears on right away, so the shocks havn't seen dirt yet.  I just recently took the shockwears off, and there was only an extremely fine layer of dust on the inside, no water spots, and no small peices of dirt, just a fine misting from the previous days ride.  These are a must for anyone who wants to protect their expensive aftermarket shocks.
