Handlebars- When my stock handlebars became bent, it was time to look for a new set. I knew I didn't want to get stock bars again, since they bend like string cheese, so I went to the #1 manufacturer in ATV handlebars, Renthal. I bought the 300EX bend bars, since I liked the feel of the stock bars, but wanted something a little more sporty. When the bars arrived, I could tell that they were top notch. From the brushed aluminum finish to the glossy crossbar pad, I was quite satisfied. Installation was as simple as removing the old bars and levers, and attaching the new bars. I did have to remove the stock handlebar plastics, relocate my key, and cut a small peg off of the headlight/start button box, but these were all fairly simple tasks. Getting rid of that ugly stock handlebar plastic was a great feeling! When I sat on the quad, I could definitely tell that the handlebars were much more suited to aggressive riding, making me feel much more in control. Out on the track, vibration through the handlbars was reduced, and the cool factor of my ATV went up. I recommend these bars to anyone looking for a stiffer, but yet more comfortable bar.
Grips- There are very few grips available to quads without twist throttles, so I am very pleased that the few out there are top notch. Renthals diamond pattern ATV grips provide a much more slip-free grip than stock grips, and also wear a lot better. Mine have been through one season of ATVing without any noticeable signs of wear. The grips are comfortable to hold, and don't give you blisters as often as stock grips do. I recommend these grips to everyone and anyone looking for something much better than stock. |
