| Choke Removal- I decided to remove my choke after reading a post on exriders.com. It is a great mod for a mildly modified engine that isn't quite ready for an aftermarket carb. When the mod is all done, there is a definate increase in throttle response, and maybe a mild increase in horsepower. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a slight edge in racing. The only problem is that without a choke, the ATV can be hard to start in cold weather, and requires a little work to get it to run until it is up to operating temperature. Just pump the thumb throttle a couple times before you go to start the ATV to prime to carb, and it should fire right up. Then, just sit with it for a minute until it is all warmed up, and you shouldn't have any more problems.
