Background:
X-TREME is a dance/rap boy band from La Vega High School. The original members were Kent, Kyle E., Marc, Matt, & Joey. Later on, the band lost member Joey and was replaced with Kent's brother Kyle K.

This group began as a dance group that performed before audiences at halftime basketball games and pep rallies. They even got a gig to perform at halftime during a Baylor basketball game on Januray 2, 2002.

A little time past and member Matt came up with the idea that X-TREME needed to collaborate and make a CD. But what kind of CD they all wondered. Then they decided on making a rap CD. Soon afterwards, X-TREME members Kent, Kyle, Marc, & Matt hit the studio and began recording their debute album entitled "
Your Grandma's Rap Music". After months of recording, the album was finally complete and was released on May 10, 2002 and is now in the hands of many of X-TREME's fans. The album includes original rhymes written by the members themselves and rapped over the rap beats you hear today on the radio.

The second album, yet to be titled, is being recorded and will soon be released on TyTanium Records. So watch out for that one and future releases.
