March the 11th at Mile End in London. It was The Thing 2006 and me, my brother and my dad set off the see the booths and comics. It was increadible! About 400 turned up to enjoy the convention, one of these people was a very happy Gaiash Ketoji with his younger brother and dad. My first convention and man was it something, I got a Weebl and Bob Tshirt and plushies as well as a copy of Brodies Law with a free poster. I also handed out leaflets of Making Kelham Famous to the booths and a few people had seen Kelham somewhere before. David Bircham from Brodies Law liked my art style and drew my character Count Garland from Draculia Space Fleet. All in all it was a grand day out and I would love to go again next year. |
