Way back in the beginnings of our get-togethers, the group wasn't known as anything. They mainly just said, "Hey lets get together and play." "Okay, who do you want to invite?" "Uh...I guess, Aaron, Anthony, Bao..." etc. After one game, someone got an awesome idea to go to the closest convenience store, QuikTrip. The hot dogs, taquitos, and RoosterBoosters, developed greatly to our interests. Of course, a group of about 10 people with guns usually brought a lot of attention to the other shoppers inside of the store so the group decided to eat and talk outside while conveniently using the hood of a car as a table. While eating one day at QuikTrip, we finally decided we needed a name. After many blank looks and stares, "QTG!!!" was thrown out by one of the members. Slowly, each member brightened up and the QuikTripGang was formed. |
