To my friends and comrades who have remained loyal to me throughout the duration of this site (all three of you) I have an announcement to make. Although QQ Cartoons! will remain open and I will continue to make utterly pointless cartoons that follow in the tradition of Monty Python and Homestar Runner, it will no longer be the place where I post my latest pictures. To put it bluntly, Geocities is a pain in the ass and I refuse to deal with the agravation anymore. I planned to move away from computer art anyways, so this change was inevitable. I will still upload some stuff, the good stuff, but none of that random crap- except for the ones i think are really funny.
I'll be posting my traditional artwork (paintings and the like) on my other website, http://www.strangechild.deviantart.com/. My new website isn't as fun as QQ Cartoons, but there are people there who are actually...good...so the tone is a little bit more serious. A little.
I'm continuing work on the new cartoon, it should rock, and in the walk cycle, her boobs aren't supposed to move because they're inflatable ones that are eventually going to pop. Next person to tell me they don't move gets their email placed on every spam list within my reach. I'm still taking suggestions for subject mattter.
So...in conclusion...paint pages are slowing down, cartoons are still running, new more-serious site, and her boobs aren't supposed to move. I think that'll do it.

experience, the Captain's Log. This is where I, Megan Steffen, will
provide links to all the new cool stuff and explain the process behind the
magnificient piece of work which is this site. (Yes, I know magnificient
is spelt wrong, shut up, that's how I do it.) I've been living in San Francisco the entire summer
(just got back today) so the website has pretty much gone to shit. Since I
did not have access to my computer, all I was able to do was make a few buddy
icons, switch a few quotes around- nothing spectacular. However, the
experience was not a total loss, in that we now have the new Samurai
Jack Experience.
This page features screenshots from the sequence I
made in my 3d animation class using Maya 5.0. I cannot even begin to
explain how much that class rocked. My teacher was excellent, and the
stuff I did in there earned me two awards and a twenty dollar gift certificate
to an art store (yeah...that'll buy me like...a pencil.) I also took a 2d
animation class in which I got another award, and all this award receiving is
awesome in that it has really convinced my parentals to be much more encouraging
about the whole "becoming an animator someday" thing. The
beginning of the fulfillment of my hopes and dreams... But going back to the website. I'm
thinking I want to start moving in a slightly different direction, with a new
less bubblegum color scheme and better layouts, which means I'm going to have to
get help from someone who actually knows html. *cough cough* techies
