IAN YOUNGER

Much loved Patron of the team and great supporter of all things Queen's Park. A man who kept us entertained with his fantastic piano playing and his eccentric antics which lightened up many an away day.

STUART BLACK

Played for Meadowbank Team'85 and Meadowbank B and was a great character during our early socialising days with our friends from Edinburgh

Tragically killed in a works accident in 1997
"SMURF"

One of the Merthyr boys who visited Glasgow a couple of times in the 90's.
Also played a big part in our visits to Merthyr as his grandparents owned "The Antelope" in Blaendowlais, a pub which never closed !

Killed in a car accident in 1995
MICK McLELLAN

Played in the first ever Hampden Trophy for Partick Thistle (Cross).

Died 2003


JOHN McGREGOR

Meadowbank Team'85
player who played regularly against QP in the early days.

Died 2005
IAIN BROWN

Meadowbank Thistle supporter who played regularly against QP many times.

Died 1998
GARY BROOKS

Nottingham Forest supporter who represented his team at the Ian Younger Sixes for many years. Also refereed our first game in Nottingham dressed in yellow wellies !
Tragically killed in a works accident.

GRAHAM CURRY

One of the Sporting Speedwell committee who, along with Michael Higgins, played a huge part in organsing our games against each other in the 90's

DALE JACOBS

A Leyton O's supporter and regular at the CHAOS Cup.

He was the Player of the Tournament in 2004
when he was battling cancer which sadly took his life on 11th January 2008
ALAN WILSON

Played for Appin in the 2007 Ian Younger Sixes and scored in the same game his two sons played alongside him.

Rab MacDonald's brother-in-law.

Died suddenly May 2008
FRASER BLACK

Played for Appin against us from the age of fifteen.

Died in a car accident aged eighteen in March 2009
RAB MacDONALD

Originally a Raith Rovers player, Rab started playing for us before creating the Scottish Sea farmers and Appin teams.

A great friend of the team and a regular at our tournaments.

Died in a works accident on Loch Creran near his home in Appin
