Queen's Park FC held their third annual Festival of Football at Lesser Hampden on Saturday 28th September and we were asked to put a seven a side team into the event.
Naturally we obliged and rounded up ten willing volunteers to make up our squad. They were:- David Ferguson, John Crosbie, Arthur McCue, Alistair Dorward, John Kirkland, Gordon Hunter, Stephen McGilp, Logan Taylor, Fraser Gibson and Ally Dick.
We played three games; beating the QP Ladies Team 1-0 thanks to a goal from Gordon Hunter; lost
1-0 to the QPFC Coaches and drew 1-1 with a team of ex-QPFC players with Stevie McGilp scoring.
The day was a success as the previous two had been and once again it's thanks to QPFC for the invite.
