Assuming the area west
of Quesnel Drive is excluded from Trafalgar FI due to recognizing the geographic
feature of a steep hill separates the communities for Elementary School
age children,
suggest taking the
area,
between
Blenheim and Quesnel/Puget,
King Edward and 33rd
Avenue
and switching it from Jules Quesnel FI to Quilchena FI as it is closer to Quilchena FI and shares Balaclava neighborhood park with Kerrisdale which is part of Quilchena FI.
This area should remain part of Kits FI High School as it is the closest to the area.
This raises the question why is this area not part of Trafalgar FI as it is closest. Perhaps this area is excluded from Trafalgar both for English and FI because of the geographic feature of a steep hill between Quesnel Drive and Puget Drive separating neighborhoods for Elementary age children (young children do not go up and down the hill to local parks).
